And a new album every year. Except for this year when we get 2!

I had to miss them in Chicago a few nights ago...work. And they were with The Dear Hunter which I have just started to get into the last week or so.

i had listened to them once or twice prior to coming here because they toured with RX and some other bands. now i am just hooked.

The CD's got shipped out yesterday. The bands manager said the vinyl won't ship until 7/18

By no means am I one of those "RX is no good without horns" people but this track just needs em. Period.

Bury It Down is pretty awesome but would be so much cooler with signature Borth and Sheets horns instead of the watered down version on this album.

Been listening to them since the S.C.I.E.N.C.E. days. Black Heart Inertia, the song they played on Conan the other night, is a horrible example of what they sound like now. The songs they have released as mainstream singles over the last 7 or 8 years have clearly been their least interesting stuff. I agree, they were pretty boring on Conan. They still have so much great stuff though.

Thats really funny. I feel the exact opposite. I feel like ATBB was perfect and not a second of it should be changed. I think the new album is good but the order is all goofy and certain tracks don't belong and certain jams are out of place.

Really? More cohesive than the last? Completely disagree. It is a good album but I don't think you can get more cohesive (and perfect) than ATBB.

Don't write them off so quick everyone. I wasn't particularly blown away on the first listen but it is growing on me a lot. I don't like what they did with his vocals at all. But RxB is always the kind of band that evolves with each listen. It is good stuff. Just not what I expected.

Yeah, it does sound quite a bit different. I'm sure it will take a little bit of time to adjust to the new sound. I didn't take on to their other stuff right away. I'm sure a few weeks down the road the album will be rocking.

Maybe Virgil could fill us in. Didn't he mention somewhere that he's been listening to it for a while now?

You mean in the waveform. "The sine of the soundwaves" doesn't mean anything. What you are saying is that the watermark is actually in the data stream of the songs. It is embedded into the waveform. I did not know that. That's pretty cool.

That's really interesting. So you would have had your own unique watermark? Its interesting because even on most of the torrent sites they acknowledge that certain version are not working in iTunes and other programs or the ID3 tags are messed up. I do know of multiple people who have had copies for months know. I just heard it for the first time today.
