I hate getting records in the mail
mattsummers86 replied to circlingvultures's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I haven't had any problems from getting records in the mail, I live in a tiny ass town in NC so getting them any way else is kind of out of hand... yeah. -
Paul barribeau springsteen cdr
mattsummers86 replied to markbutlerftw's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
Yeah, this is definately on my list of things to get. I ordered Paul's albums from PIX a couple weeks back and I'm SO STOKED to get Grand Ledge on 10" vinyl. Paul is my hero. -
How did you find Vinyl Collective?
mattsummers86 replied to loren's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I'm probably one of the many (or few) who found vinylcollective through asian man records. I'm a huge AMR fan, so I read all the posts and updates to the site and Mike tends to mention you guys quite often. Haha =] -
What's your favorite 7" artwork?
mattsummers86 replied to swankymodes's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
Dude, me too, so much. When I saw that artwork... I was just so happy. Haha, I couldn't stop laughing for what seemed like hours. It finally showed up in my mail today and I just stared at it for a while Well, since you said that, I think my second favorite 7" art would be The Jammy Dodger's Fish n' Chips. Call me crazy, but I just like how the people look and the room they are in reminds me of my grandparents house. -
That would be such an awesome thing! I'm not a SUPER bioshock fan like many of you probably are, but I've played the game and I can't wait to try Bioshock 2. I mean... that would just be so sweet. An awesome collectors item.

Would You Pay $8-$10 for a 7 inch?
mattsummers86 replied to chaps's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I would never pay more than 7$ for a 7". Kind of a rule I go by because I just think "Hey, I could get these 2 songs on iTunes for 1.98, than add how much the packaging should cost" I love having physical copies of things and only use iTunes as a super ultra last resort. Vinyl is art, packaging is art, and so if those two songs are beast, and I would frame and hang the artwork on my wall, than I'll pay up to 7$ for it.
