just got this from a trade. soooo happy. working on a mono collection as well. also, this won't ever be repressed. trl stated that it was a one time only press when it was initially pressed and jeremy won't go back on his word. there is a small possibility that the tracks may see some sort of repress, but not alone and not just as OMSAYD.

the 7" surfaces on ebay once in a while. as for the cassette, many believe it actually never existed. although i have heard a story that a guy who used to post on vlv found on on the street one day and had pictures. who knows.

why is it awful? because they aren't conforming to the whole post-rock band aesthetics? quoting brent (runs magic bullet): "They're four dudes from Texas who like sweet shit like eagles and wolves and lightning. A lot." so yes, the album cover isn't a picture of some vast expanse in the middle of nowhere, and it isn't some abstract art trying to convey a message, it's just what they felt like putting on the cover. not all bands are going to be totally SO serious and so into their band as something more than music.

it has not been pressed yet. pressing amounts for each color will be based on the amount of preorders made for each one. so if most people choose blue, blue will have the most records pressed, etc.

it is the vinyl-only cover. cd has other artwork.
