i'm putting together a newsletter for collectors of arkansas. and right now i'm working on a banner for the newsletter. however, i need a certain picture to do what i have in mind. i need a picture of many overlapping records. i would take my own collection and overlap some of them on a display sheet, but i have a shitty camera and i figured there would be this sort of picture floating around the board. thanks to anyone who can help me out!

i need a brush, i don't know what to get. did i quick search, didn't find anything unless i'm clearly overlooking a topic. A few newers records and some older records have this grainy sand crap on it and in the grooves.

i was gonna order a shelf cause i also have all my books in stacked milk crates as well anyways. right now, i have 80% of my collection in a milk crate which is packed full (my collection consists of only about 100 records...i only started avidly collecting a year ago). My 10"s and 7"s i have out neatly leaned against the milk crate on either side. Then whatever else can't fit (including the giant sigur ros box set) laying in the floor next to the crate. This has become a hazard because for one, the milk crate is full. For another, now that it is full, my cat thinks he can jump on it and stand atop all my records once a day as i quickly swat him off. But yeah, i would like a shelf or something of the sort. But i don't know which or what to order. Any specific shelving units you guys would recommend that i might be able to find at target or something? thanks guys, Tommy.

The American Lexicon hmmm, that seems like a lot of work and cash. I'm not too worried about inserts, detailed sleeves and sleeves. I more or less just want some presses, maybe inserted into some cheap ass dust sleeve with a clear plastic jacket. or maybe just the plastic jacket itself. this project is not so much of a profit project or a serious one. We just had some old statewide fans that wanted a press of this, so we said why not. We are defunct and no longer together. I've never pressed anything of myself, so i figured it would be interesting, at the same time, i don't want to spend a lot, because i don't plan any profit.

i'm completely new to getting your stuff processed and pressed. no idea what the cost is. where i would go. who i would contact. i searched a couple things and found a topic not too long ago. but i was still kind of lost. if someone could point me in the right direction, that would be awesome! thanks VC community.

yes, i had to use ur, your would not fit. anyways. how do each of you guys do this? i have a only a small collection of around 75-80 pieces, so all mine fit in one plastic storage crate, with really no organization (no order) or sorting (7"s, 10"s, 12"s, and everything inbetween all together.) i need to start doing this, i was just wanting to see what everyone else did on the board. cheers!
