  1. Also, if anyone is interested in working outside of eBay, I have multiple copies of most of the LPs as well as the screen printed posters.

I also have two prints available from Bad Rabbits, the newest of which isn't available anywhere outside of their merch table (assuming that they haven't sold out of them yet), so you can hit me up with a PM if you're into cool shit like that.

  2. Rallying up as much cash as possible for our forthcoming release, so I put some records up on ebay (most of which is admittedly titles out of our distro) as well as a few newbies and a handful of screen prints and promo posters.

The screen prints are pretty hot and some of you might get into 'em! I've got prints by Hot Water Music, Thrice, Matisyahu, & Underoath for starters.

    Thanks guys!

  3. UPDATE: Got an email back from Victory and they volunteered to ship me some new jackets even though I offered to pay for them + shipping. If I get these in a quick fashion it will be a very painless solution.

However, they did attempt to insist that the records weren't damaged at all before shipping. I tried to explain that the LP mailer wasn't busted up in the slightest, so there is no way that it is a USPS error. I thought that they might want to follow up with some warehouse employees, but maybe not.

That's all. I'll be done bitching about my jackets now. :-)

  4. Scooped this up because of my love for Bayside, but if the Victory rep on this board wants to pass along a simple message for me, I would greatly appreciate it:

THERE ARE OTHER COLORS IN THE WORLD BESIDES CLEAR W/ BLACK SMOKE, WHITE, RED AND GREY MARBLE. IN FACT, THERE'S EVEN A SOLID BLACK. CRAY.

Thanks for the feedback, Sometimes we are limited to what our pressing plant has at the time and how quickly they can turn it around, and we like to keep our prices low for you. A lot of factors come into play, but i agree, i'd like to see bit more new colors in the future. However Clear with Black Smoke is almost always our most rare color.

Don't get me wrong - I'm super content with the reasonable retail cost of most Victory LPs, but that first page of vinyl releases on your webstore is pretty bland looking. My "aqua" copy of Shudder is gorgeous! So is my weird off-yellow of Full Collapse. It just looked like some apathy took over on this batch of pressings.

  5. I know that several have mentioned it already, but I am always willing to ship internationally at cost - I've worked with more than a few of you on here and via the label as well...just give me a PM and I'll do everything in my power for any of these HT exclusives.

Also, Travis - I love you! However, you make my bank account very very sad. It weeps nightly because of your (awesome) actions.

  6. They might start getting their funds held for 30 days because of your claims.

Well I'm not doing it to the same sellers every time (once it happens once I tend to avoid them). And if they get their funds held because of my one claim it's either because PayPal really sucks more than I thought, or they have had other problems in the past.

But if that is the case, I may try and use Google Checkout more as I'm hoping their terms are less stringent.

A little late to reply, but Paypal sucks more than people assume, especially for sellers.

I have only had one claim filed against me, and it was for a Bad Rabbits preorder this past spring. The customer filed the claim the day that I sent the record (which was two weeks (10 business days) after the preorder began, and hers was at the tail end of shipping out 200+ LPs, but I disgress) and when I contacted her, she just said "oh, I forgot it was a preorder" - she got her record and closed the claim.

Fast forward a month or so and paypal is now holding all of my funds because my activity "raised suspicions" and that I had a "history of buyer disputes" - when I called them to discuss it, I even explained that the buyer paid using media mail and lived on the opposite side of the country. I could've mailed it the minute she ordered it and it might not have arrived by the time that she filed the claim. They didn't care.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't file claims or anything, but this wasn't something that I was aware of paypal doing until it happened to me. It apparently only takes once. :-(
