  1. And the fact that more people on this board have no idea about the history proves their short-sightedness and appreciation for stupid music.

This, from the guy who listens to MxPx.

Stop making out like you're so much cooler for knowing about this album while other people on the board don't know about it or could care less. That doesn't make the music they like less relevant.

  2. haha, awesome! I swear this dude is a fucking dildo. I'd place a pretty good bet that he doesn't even like this band, but will pretty much just licence anything that was attached to a major, to give his label the appearance of being a "major player". There is no way he's making more than maybe 1500 or so per pressing after licencing and pressing, and raping people on prices.

I've done several represses myself, and have never had to pay a dime for licencing. If the bands actually liked you, there is a good chance they could negotiate with their label to avoid licencing fees. But that would entail working closely with the band, which obviously your not too fond of.

    Selling units man!

I remember when I asked you to get your own bands instead of stealing other bands stuff. your response was "I tried that once, and we lost money"

If at first you don't succeed, pay someone to let you ride on their coat tails.

    sounds like somebody is jealous.

  3. Stupid! Why the fuck would they destroy the original tape it was recorded on??? They must be counting on 2012 being the end of the world because why else would you cut the original tape into little pieces and disseminate them to the public unless you knew you were never going to press the album again?

Am I crazy? Even if they bounced it to a backup tape they'll still have loss, right?

    kiiick back, Captain Serious.

  4. I to, would like to know the difference as well.

I know that was somehow meant as a stab at me, but I was always under the impression that trolling was someone who doesn't post, but just kind of watches? I seriously have no idea what the deffinition of "trolling is". I'm bad at the internet, and old.

Also I am suprised that more people don't know the difference between tongue in cheek jabbing, and being serious.

    Lighten up kemosabe

You already used that excuse once before. You're having a bad day (maybe one of your friends' band got into a car crash or maybe one of your friend's died or maybe you're just pissed off that nobody is interested in the shitty bands you're releasing) and you chose to vent by posting that you think Blink 182 suck when you could have easily ignored the thread and did something positive instead of being a straight-up fucktard.

  5. bummed that the only LA show he's playing is Coachella because i ain't going to that. i'd fly up to SF or Berkeley but i don't have the funds right now.

the 3 song CD sampler and Boy Lilikoi pretty damn good though. looking forward to the album.

Couldnt get the camera to focus right but there you are.

sweet Idlewild collection. the only thing i'm missing is Before the Ruin. but i'm not too keen on getting it on vinyl because i wasn't too into the album itself.

don't know if you were aware (or even interested) but there's a US pressing of The Remote Part. non-gatefold sleeve. put out by Capitol Records. there's also a jukebox 7" single for Little Discourage with Idea Track as the b-side.

  8. will those be available on the webstore? the shops around me never seem to get Magic Bullet releases until months after they're released.

If for whatever reason your local shop seems to slack on getting MBR records in a timely fashion, make sure they're ordering it all from:

    http://www.ilcdistro.com/site/

And it's definitely fair game to ask the store to stock whatever titles you want...

so these won't be available on the Magic Bullet store online then?

  9. Magic Bullet RSD titles:

    • Integrity - brand new 7" w/etched B-side

    • This Will Destroy You "Moving on the Edges of Things" 10"

    • The All-American Rejects "Bad Eggs" 12"

will those be available on the webstore? the shops around me never seem to get Magic Bullet releases until months after they're released.
