Tim, don't lie, Give didn't have the new 7" yet, ha. They'll have them for the west coast and Youngblood fest.
-
I would love for them to start playing again. I could never get sick of them.

The Body is by far one of the best live bands... seeing them play WITH Braveyoung was even better

Already posted this in the Terrible Traders Thread, but figured I'd post it here as well just in case.
Has anyone had dealings with timwt?
I paid him for his entire No Sleep Sub on July 28. He responded to a few emails but was pretty slow at getting back to me. He said he was going to ship the record out "this week" a while back. When I requested a DC# the following week he said he couldn't get to the post office because his work schedule. He also said he had too much to drink Friday night so he missed the post office on Saturday. I haven't been able to get a response since the 9th.
What should I do? Everything was great until he got my money. Now he's becoming increasingly hard to get a hold of.
Thanks for your help!
I can vouch for his work schedule being insane. He also works no where near a post office, so it would be tough for him to get to a post office if it's not on a Saturday. I know that he's a super solid person when it comes to trading/selling records, you shouldn't have to worry!

I'll take any Aquabats vinyl from any label. We did. the band was down.. fearless doesn't understand the vinyl craze right now and prefers to sit on the rights.
I'm with you, any Aquabats records, I'll buy.

I got my shirt & tape last Wednesday.

I ordered the deluxe, I had subscribed to that Post Marked Stamps club "back in the day," so I love the concept. I enjoy all the bands except that Mockingbird band, mainly because I haven't heard them yet, but I'm sure I'm going to like everything.
Imagine Gaslight Anthem mixed with Leatherface!
Leatherface, eh?! Well, I'm sold.

I have no idea why my parents thought it was appropriate for me to watch Twin Peaks as a kid, but they did and I'm forever grateful to them for that. When I was 14, we took a trip driving around the west coast, stayed in the Great Northern, ate at Twede's (Double R in the show), all that jazz. I'm glad I still love the show.

Well, looks like I'm going to order 3 or 4 of the boxes that hold 7"s, why not!?
-
I've got tickets for this & Riot Fest Philly... making a weekend out of it.

this is pretty cool, indeed

Mean Everything to Nothing is up in their store for $14.99
Good looking out! Thanks! Just picked up Mean Everything to Nothing & I'm Like a Virgin Losing a Child. I've been wanting these, but not at the going rate.

Attention posters to this thread: Pictures or you didn't have them!
Septic Death - Nightmare Takes a Nap box set of test pressings. This was an edition of 30, however mine is a one of a kind custom made one just for me by Pushead himself with extra contents, and numbered with my initials on the back! I damn near shit in my pants from the excitement when I got this from him many years ago.
This is one of those unattainable records/sets for me. I've got a handful of things painted by Pushead that he gave to me, but not one of those... jealous!

My friend picked up Can't Slow Down for $4 while I dropped the records off. Talk about a great store.
I sure did.
Come to the show, you wont regret it.

Yeah, man. I was bidding on three and they went up to at least 100 or so dollars. I was hoping with the demand they would repress it and low and behold they have. So Fucking stoked
That's nuts! Still, it's awesome that people are getting stoked on them, they've been going at it for a long time! If you haven't picked up that split with Whitehorse or the singles collection CD, you definitely should.

I'm glad this is finally being repressed. I hated seeing how much these were going for on ebay.
People were paying a decent amount for these?! I'm glad to see that people are finally catching on with how good The Body is!

Don't be silly, buy this now.

Picked it up at the NYC show on Saturday (Jesuit was ridiculously good. 3 guitars.) LP + 7. They had Gold, Green & Black vinyl.
-
Poison Idea, SNFU, New Bomb Turks? count me in!
Also, Christian Death (& Frontier related bands) that you can't legally sell... man, motherload of good stuff.

Like everyone has said here, NAC is the best. Super fast, incredibly easy to work with and cheaper than most of the competition.

it's weird when I see peoples' big buys be records that came out in the last five years. Records (in general) depreciate in value. It's cheaper to wait it out on most new high dollar records. There are obviously a lot of records that go up a lot over the years, but almost every record goes down in value.
I spent over a hundred on Minor Threat "In My Eyes", but I've sold a lot of records for over $100 so I don't feel bad about it. Plus it's a classic, not some flavor of the week.
I'm with you on that. So bizarre.
I've had some classic HC records come and go through my collection that I've dropped $100 on. I think the most was $150 for a sealed copy of Youth Of Today "Break Down The Walls" on Wishing Well. Pretty decent for a record that was 24 years old and hadn't been played ever. Worth every cent.
PO: COALESCE Give Them Rope (both versions) 2xLP

I come from rock, that came from nothing....
One of my favorite records ever, but really this is not necessary. That being said, I'll probably pick it up at some point.
