  3. We put up some specifics about the upcoming release, hope this answers some questions: >>>>>>> DWI68 J. Bannon "The Blood Of Thine Enemies" Format: 7"EP Only (One-sided, etched B-Side) "The Blood Of Thine Enemies" is the long awaited debut solo recording from J. Bannon (Converge, Supermachiner, etc). "The Blood..." is a minimalist six minute emotional dirge unlike any of his previous musical/artistic efforts. Haunting in it's simplicity, this release foreshadows his anticipated "Wear Your Wounds" album, due out on Deathwish later in 2008. Meant to be a stand alone piece, "The Blood..." is exclusively available as a one sided 7"EP (w/ a beautifully etched B-side) and will not be included on any other J. Bannon release. Pre-ordering for this release is coming soon. >>>>>> Thanks.
  4. I guess we are glad we give you a boner. Thanks. -J.
  5. If by "Peddling" you mean doing job for all things Deathwish related, then yes, I am. It's called Do It Yourself. It used to be all the rage 15 years ago. Audio is in the works. There are a number of songs that are near completion as far as recording goes. We hope to have some up shortly. Thanks everyone. -J.

After delays on the printing end (hey, it's art, not a race after all...), TWO versions of this spectacular print are on route to the DW Estore. Look for ordering information to be posted VERY soon. Each print was created using a complex eight color silkscreening process, that will surely blow minds... Florian Bertmer has been creating provacative and powerful illustrations for many in the aggressive music community since the late 1990's. He first began illustrating flyers and album art in his native Germany. Later his work came to the public's attention in the States through apparel designs for Converge and Jesuit, often being compared to Pushead in it's unique expressive quality. He even contributed artwork to both Converge releases "Deeper The Wound" and "The Poacher Diaries". Throughout the years, his work has continued to progress and evolve. Some of his recent projects have included artwork for: Job For A Cowboy, Pig Destroyer, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, The Hope Conspiracy, Doomriders, Outbreak, and many more. www.myspace.com/soulboy69 www.deathwishinc.com www.myspace.com/deathwishinc www.myspace.com/malfunctionrecords >>>>>>> - Trash Talk "Plagues" 7"EP Pre-ordering launched, tour underway!!! "Plagues" is their dizzying soundtrack to the impending and unavoidable apocalypse. Comprised of six violent anthems to the diseased and destructive survivors of a dead world. With every explosive note, they delve deeper into that bleak vision: "All major cities have been laid to waste and survival has become daily life. This is the end of the world. Romantically doomed. The age of innocence is over and everybody knows we're fucked. Most have come to terms and have let defeat set in. Some haven't. Ostracized, morally outcast, and devoid of feeling, our pack has to outlast hunger, freezing cold, scorching heat, dehydration, and self destructive tendencies to survive to see just one more day. Everything has changed so fast and so drastically that this is all a blur. A ball of flesh and metal. An unwanted child of nothing..." "Abyss" Audio Player: www.deathwishinc.com/listennow/29 Pulling Teeth "Martyr Immortal" Audio Player: http://www.deathwishinc.com/listennow/26 Continuing on their left hand path with "Abyss", Shipwreck a.d. delve even deeper into that ever-growing dark/apocalyptic artistic vision. In the opening seconds of "Squall" the band unleashes an aural tsunami that builds and crashes with immeasurable hardcore force. Oozing with a dynamic ebb and flow, mid-album standout "Helix" shows their already proven rage receding to a calm before the real sonic storm roars in songs "Lotus", "Erebos", and their epic metallic closer, "Zenith". Climbing to higher musical summits and digging deeper into emotional lows, with "Abyss" they have proven that they are true originals/leaders in the metallic hardcore genre. "Martyr Immortal" is Pulling Teeth's newest metallic hardcore masterpiece. Twelve songs that conjure the ghosts of classic bands Integrity and Left For Dead all the while adding their own unique spin on the genre. The band even paid homage to these influences by having Jeff Beckman (Left For Dead) create the artwork for the release, while Integrity vocalist/lyricist Dwid Hellion contributed musically to the release. To add even more to their list of A-level contributors, longtime friend and Pig Destroyer guitarist Scott Hull was brought in to master the album. The result is a heavier, meaner, and more abrasive release than anything out there today... In early 2007, Trap Them released two stunning records on Rhode Island's Trash Art! label, both engineered by Kurt Ballou (Converge) at Godcity Studios. First was their crushing "Self Titled" debut 7"EP. Bringing to mind influences Entombed, Nasum, and even Black Flag, the release was a devastating three song wake up call to the aggressive music community. Just two months later, Trap Them released "Sleepwell Deconstructor", their debut full length on Trash Art!. The album's viciousness is awe inducing, proving that they already deserve to stand among the elite of the extreme metal and hardcore genre. Easily their heaviest release to date "Seance Prime" was recorded by Kurt Ballou (Converge) at Godcity Studios. "Seance Prime" is a tornado of D-Beat hooks, frantic bursts of speed, and earth shaking dirges. Erasing the line between metal and punk with every unpredictable twist and turn it takes. Once again proving that Trap Them are one of the most relevant and interesting bands in aggressive music scene today. In what is sure to be a scathing display of ferocity, Avocado Booking is proud to announce the eclectic yet devastating package tour of ROTTEN SOUND, THE OCEAN, VICTIMS and TRAP THEM. Having beaten grindcore into a surgical precise display of aggression, ROTTEN SOUND have crafted several albums around grind/metal/crust/hardcore with the sole intent to be unrelenting; hear for yourself on their upcoming new album “Cycles,” due out at the beginning of 2008! THE OCEAN have steadily progressed with lots of touring and refinement of their metal/hardcore/progressive music onslaught, this is best heard on their upcoming record “Precambrian” through Metal Blade Records. VICTIMS bring a vicious hardcore/punk fury to the bill that is not only electrifying, it’s destructive as best evident on their upcoming album “Killer.” Deathwish’s own Trap Them will be opening the package every night. Their new record “Seance Prime” is a tornado of D-Beat hooks, frantic bursts of speed, and earth shaking dirges. An incredible bill of bands with amazing new records sure to please any fan of extremity and heaviness!!! Check out George's reflections on this now classic recording below: "...Somehow our WERS set has become somewhat of a "cult classic". I think thats cool in some ways because for about a year in my life, one of my goals was to collect all the great WNYU sets, I had so many. The Supertouch and Underdog ones being my two favorites. I remember one in particular that was hard to get was one of the OUTBURST ones. I wasnt even a huge fan of OUTBURST but for some reason it was on my list and I had to get it. Mental was playing cafe metro in Wilkes Barre and Greg had a copy of it. This is well into the 2000s so the next few things that happen are just a true sign of nerdery. Mental wound up staying at a friend of a friends house. My friend Gary lived in wilkes barre and was obviously at the show and the show after the show, so he went back to the house and got some random purple cassete tape that he found in the said house and taped the OUTBURST set. I was so psyched when I got to borrow it to tape it for myself. Which reminds me now that I just wound up keeping that cassete and still have it to this day. If I had a tape player in my apartment I would be finishing this paragraph with "I'm listening to the tape now". As far as our "kewl radio set" goes, about an hour before we recorded it we played a show at the Cambridge Elks Lodge in Boston. We packed up our gear and merch as soon as the show was over and drove over to the station. We drank tea, ate chips, looked through cds Jen (Brandy Brooklyn) was gonna play for the show, Quickly wrote up a list of some songs to play, went in the room and just played the songs. Some people have asked me if Joe Hardcore was there for this and sung during Eye For An Eye, I can neither confirm or deny. 13. Thanks everyone. I'll take a look at that thread soon. I'm mainly concentrating on making music right now, but I will get back on the print wagon in the coming months. The next DW print that will be released if from our friend Florian Bertmer. We hope to have those prints in stock very soon. -J.
  14. Yes I am the real one. Do I have Dead Ringers? Likely I suppose. Thank you for the "Welcome Aboard", much appreciated. I figure that this forum could/would be welcoming to what DW/Malfunction do, so here I am. I try to check most forums I subscribe to daily, but I often don't get the chance, so apologies to anyone who asks me a question and I am slow at responding. Take care. -J.
  15. We've launched pre-ordering for this amazing release in the DW Estore!!! Please note that this is a Pre-order. This item will ship as soon as it arrives in stock. Estimated ship date is to be announced. Also note that if you order additional items along w/ this Pre-order, those additional items will be held until this item is ready to ship. Attention collectors: There are 3 vinyl color variations of this release available from the DW Estore. If you order three copies, you will receive all three variations (while supplies last). An unwanted child of nothing..." Plagues are upon us... Remember, ALL new Deathwish/Malfunction vinyl releases come w/ a free Digital Download of the purchased release!!! Even more reason to pick this up!!!
