Weird it says "out of stock" when I load the site.
-
and it's sold out!
-
Whatever the 2 x 10 comes with, I think as a casual fan it's going to be hard to justify spending an extra $40 bucks when I can buy the single LP for $12 on amazon.
-
Or you could save your money for when they inevitably sell T=shirts for $25 on tour...
-
No, most other record labels take a risk when they put out a record. They may make different variants in other to help sales but ultimately if no one ends up buying the record they eat the losses. In this case, Trevor Keith is putting the responsibility of putting out the vinyl on his fans and in addition to that trying to rip them off by churning out as many "test presses" and "signed set lists" as he can since those won't cost him much of anything.
-
Yeah, I can't justify paying almost $20 for this.
-
Just FYI, it's a one-per-person limit on RSD at least where I went so it's going to be tough to get extra copies of anything.
-
I'm surprised that the white still isn't sold out...
-
It says Trevor Keith has his own label. Yet he needs money to press his own records. Okay.
I sure hope Disconnected made it onto this album too.
I think he's a little "disconnected" from reality. Then again, it looks like there's a good chance this will be funded.

The author refers to himself as a "hack" in the beginning of this piece. 'Nuff said.

Thanks. Hopefully this will still be in stock once the final HWM live 7-inch goes up.
-
Personally I'm going to go ahead and laugh now at anyone who pays $25 for one LP or $100 bucks for one of 50 test pressings and a signed set list...
-
Wow, that's really lame. I love face to face, but $25 for 1 record? Especially when you're giving the money direct to the band. I can't justify that - $10 would seem fair to me. No thanks Face to Face.
I agree with all of these points... also let's not forget the fact that this album is probably going to be terrible.
-
I can tell what the record looks like, that's all that matters to me.
-
How was the memoir?
-
I just caved and bought this. I'm going to the store now to pick it up. I have no idea what's wrong with me.

ugh way to kill the rarity of the 1st press black
This is no way "kills the rarity" of any other pressing unless they found another 500 copies hidden somewhere and are now selling those... which they aren't.
-
Bands need to make money somehow these days and if their fans will pay an extra ten bucks for a super limited version of their LP and it puts a little extra petrol in the group's gas tank, I don't see a problem with it.

I think my computer's tangent filter just exploded.

Purchased. Thanks for the link!

Server is down! Will keep trying; would love for these guys to play more shows in the U.S. Totally underrated band from the classic Victory era.
-
The vinyl looks cool but ironic or not that layout is hideous.
-
I think all of their albums are good with the exception of that last one they did for Hopeless. I just listened to "Astray" the other day and that disc has some killer songs. I will agree that listening to that "You Are Freaking Me Out" 7-inch boxed set is annoying but I had to pick it up when it came out anyway.

Eighteen months is pretty standard for an album cycle. They probably just have to have the next eighteen months blocked off for Bright Eyes, they're not going to stay on the road for a year and half straight with no breaks.
OFWGKTA East Coast Tour

I don't see what all the hype is about with OFWGKTA; I'd much rather see a band who actually play instruments live such as, I don't know, Mumford & Sons.
