Got an email from Angie at Strictly Discs saying they sold out of Cave In and Botch.

Does anyone know exactly what it means if it says "In Store/Fulfilled" next to your requested titles at Strictly Discs? 

I thought it was funny that in my email Jamie seemed genuinely surprised that so many records were getting crushed in the post.

Yea, the original only had 8 tracks. Missing 80-37 and Take The Picture Now. Not sure why.

 

Edit: Actually now that I think about it I guess it wouldn't have all fit on a single LP if they had those two tracks. So I guess they picked, or someone picked, those two tracks to omit so that they didn't have to do a double LP. That's what I'm thinking, but I could be wrong.

I got mine in one of the envelopes and it was completely messed up. I emailed them about it and they were completely understanding. I sent mine back and Jamie said they'll send me another in a mailer.

If a store lost their vinyl section it was because they probably werent selling it very well to begin with.

No stores that currently have a vinyl section will be losing that. The CD sections will likely be reduced but the vinyl will be staying and possibly even expanding to some new stores that didnt have a vinyl section before.

can you use your powers to get the HT at Streets of Southpoint Mall in Durham NC to carry vinyl?

I hope you're kidding. Why would you care about Hot Topic carrying records if you can just go to Bull City, CD Alley, or All Day Records?

Are the songs on bandcamp the entire record?

Did you guys receive the email they sent out saying the was on it's way? That should have been about 2 weeks ago.
