After Transatlanticism, nothing was as good. It took 3-4 years of listening Plans to really get the album, now some of the songs ("Brother on a Hotel Bed," "Staple Song," & "Your Heart is an Empty Room") are my favorite songs. I love Plans.

Maybe it hasn't been long enough to enjoy NARROW STAIRS, but the songs don't have the same feel; the same heart. There's a couple exceptions, of course, but as a whole, not really a great album. It's better than most modern music and as DCFC gets more mainstream, they will rise to the top with their sincere writing.

Storytellers was pretty good but I wish some of the songs that they did like "The New Year" that didn't air but are available to view on VH1.com would have made the show.

Transatlanticism is definitely my favorite. Followed by The Photo Album...and now i think followed by Codes & Keys...

I like this better than Narrow Stairs AND....wait for it...much better than PLANS!

Something about this album...it just feels so much more complete and well thought out than their last couple. It feels more like an album and less like a bunch of songs on album like Narrow Stairs did...

This and Bon Iver, Bon Iver and going to be fighting for my AOTY spot for awhile...

I wish places wouldn't do preorders for represses. Really makes sense only if it's the first time it's been on vinyl...

Actually, I just looked into it some more and ATCMM was definitely released on Solid State Records.

Not trying to be "that guy" but I feel like you get a much bigger response/people wanting to help if you pressed Silence first and then using that money to press back catalog...just my 2 cents that no one asked for...

I guess it's because Silence was on a major, and with that comes licensing and stuff, but ATCMM can be done directly from the band... maybe?

I was low on cash and couldn't preorder this, but I placed and order Friday around 11 AM and the mailman just dropped this shit off at 11:30 AM (Tuesday) Fastest service ever!

On CD's yes. But almost all (with the exception of crazy packaging and double LP's) of the LP's were between 16-21 dollars. Which is about the cost of one LP after shipping...Almost every record I own I've had to order offline because there no record stores near me, so it doesn't seem that bad to me...

But again, I worked there for 3 years, and know first hand how expensive this place is on the CD/DVD side of things.

My local FYE got in a legit amount a vinyl (and good stuff too) and put it on a front and back shelving unit near the front of the store!

I live in probably the most least likely place for something like this to happen...but the guys said it had been selling quite well and that they all had heard from the company that this was going to be an ongoing thing now...

Anyone else seen vinyl at FYE lately???

I can tell you first hand, as someone who worked for that company for three years...they are the most corporate, money hungry, entertainment store in existence, so their reasons for doing this must be because they've seen a sharp increase in vinyl sales...

still, as someone who lives in a city where there are no record stores closer than an hour and 15 minutes away...this is pretty exciting...

I am on the only one who thinks this record didn't really live up to the hype...everything to nothing was much much much better...

We will have copies on release date! Not sure what Travis means. Maybe exclusive physical retailer? Regardless you should all support Dine Alone directly!

I use my debit card for everything...

I hardly ever have cash on me. So no cash = no change.

Hoping there will be at least one, maybe two more songs from Little Hell released before preorders run out...
