Hey guys. I just got to thinking about this preorder today. Has anyone received there's yet? I looked on the P+P website and didn't see anything about a delay.
-
Got my shipping confirmation on this finally. Super stoked. I really like this album. Anyone have pictures of the color to post?
-
As awesome as this series has been, I will be glad when it's over and I'm not living in constant fear that I'm going to miss the pre-order for the next installment!
Word.

Got this today on blue. I had forgotten how good the two b-side songs are. Wonder why they didn't make the album?
-
Um....so I just saw on the punknews.org page that Chamberlain Waits is being released in conjunction with Record Store Day!
-
i had never heard of this store, but i ordered a record with them via amazon and they sent me the cd instead grrr...and now refuse to send me what i ordered. Some of the worst customer service i've had the displeasure to deal with. morale of the story fuck gohastings.com!!!!
I had the same thing happen to me a couple of years ago with a Jawbreaker record. I used to work for Hastings about ten years back, and it was the worst job I ever had. Horribly unorganized company.
Recently, my roommate ordered some vinyl from them to be delivered to their store, and they called to tell him that his "calendars" had come in. When he went down to pick them up, they had a bunch of actual calendars piled up on top of them, corners all bent to hell.

I think I love this album.

is it just me or has alk3 gone downhill since good morning?
i mean...yeah.
Good Mourning and the albums before it were pretty great. Crimson was really weak though. I actually liked Agony and Irony quite a bit, especially the songs Dan does. It seems like as time goes on, I'm more impressed with the songs he writes than with Matt's, especially on This Addiction.

I voted for 6, but 1 would be good too.
-
I have to admit, I'm pretty glad I didn't order this. I like the intro.......and that's about it.
-
Ordered! So stoked this got repressed!
-
Looks like about 300. I'm kind of surprised, I hadn't made an effort to count them before now. Seems like much less. MUST GET MORE!
-
Stoked for the new Defeater! The full length, that is. I agree that I don't know that there is much point in getting the ep if there are no exclusive tracks.

I have a Tsunami Bomb picture disc and it sounds pretty good. Also have a couple Rancid ones, although I don't think I've ever listened to them since I already have those albums anyway.
The plastic sleeves are lame. I tend to take them out and put them in regular paper Lp sleeves inside of a regular LP plastic sleeve. I found I have to keep them separated from my other records though, otherwise I can't find them.

Bought the City and Colour on swirl for my wife. Hefty price, but she loves the hell out of that album.

I have to admit that when this album came out, I bought it simply because it looked so cool and I liked the other bands these guys were in. When I played it, I was blown away. Great band. I'm assuming they are still together? Something new would be good...and soon!

Just go this today on blue. It sounds great!
I also ordered an orange copy of Songs to Scream At the Sun and received an orange The Things We Carry. The Things We Carry is an awesome record, but I don't really need two copies of it. Does anyone know who I could contact at Bridge 9? The email I got was from b9store.com.

I got the blue, and picked up every color for my roommate. He does the collecting every variant thing. Awesome songs.
-
Definitely thinking about this. I wish I knew what was included in the 25. There are more than 25 lps listed there, but at $3 each, its still way worth it.
-
Got mine today. Yellow with two little wisps of smoke. Sounds awesome. I had forgotten how good the Decline was.
-
Catalyst NEEDS pressed.
Hands down!
-
The last one I saw on ebay was going for $60. The couple before that went in the $50 range. $20-25 would definitely be do-able. I'll have to keep an eye out for a better deal.
A repress with Hell Yes and Standard Break would be pretty awesome, but I already have the 7 inch for those.

i played New Maps today (the lp from the box set) for the first time. i've never heard the album before today, and the record sounds really low, like half the volume of the other LPs i've played from the set. does this record have terrible production values or is there some issue with this press? or perhaps it's just this one.
I remember thinking that the production on this album was kind of weird back when I first got it. Definitely doesn't sound like their other albums. I haven't heard the vinyl version, but the CD definitely sounds odd. The vocals seemed really low to me initially, but after a couple listens I got used to it.
