  1. Hey. I just uploaded a bunch of cool new shit that Pirates Press Records is releasing today including Cock Sparrer "Spirit of '76" with etched b side and embossed logo on the a side label. I just got my copy last week and it's really nice work. It's limited to 150 pcs and only 100 are for sale. Also available is a whole line of "Classic Punk" 7 Inches...all picture discs with titles from Cock Sparrer, Last Resort, UK Subs, 4 Skins, and Oppressed all limited to 500 for the US press. Anyway just head over to www.PiratesPressRecords.com and check it out. Unfortunately a lot of this stuff is U.S. orders only or very expensive for international shipping but check it out anyway. And while you're there may I suggest the Re-Volts 10" they put out a couple months back...it's really good too! Oi! Oi! Oi! (hahaha)
  2. international orders and a handful of domestics that were ordered in the first week shipped on saturday. all other domestic orders ordered before this monday were dropped off at the post office about an hour ago. newer international orders will take a couple more days to ship cause of new custom form crap that i need to take care of. orders placed after monday will probably not ship for about 2 weeks. the 2nd press is the pink one. the 3rd press is a different color cover and corresponding vinyl. i'm sure someone from the u.k. will post about it soon enough.
  3. nice. good work. i just finally got around to listening to that re-volts record the other day. it's really good.
  4. i will have more info on this in the next couple weeks but if you go see the loved ones in the u.k. this week they will have the 3rd pressing of the debut 10" with them. i guess this is more of a warning to not pay a whole lot of money on ebay for a copy as they will be available to many of you very soon. sorry to be so cryptic...just don't want to see any collectors get ripped off.
  5. yes, please, for the love of god you should pick up that ratchets record! (shameless plug for my former band) thanks everyone who ordered the loved ones records...they have been selling like hot cakes and i know that it's a direct result from this board. you dudes/dudettes rule. we've had to go ahead and repress again...don't worry...you'll be the firsts to know. if you're interested in some of the lesser known chunksaah stuff i would strongly urge everyone to check out the sticks and stones anthology. they are/were one of the best bands new jersey has ever had and probably ever will have. (after over 10 years of searching i finally got their first 7" last week...traded a floorpunch 7" for it...whoohoo!) of course the world/inferno stuff is great and the low budgets release we did last year is one of the best punk records i've heard in a good number of years. and the legendary 25 year anniversary reissue of the wacky hi-jinks of adrenalin o.d. comes out next week.
  6. pressed 250 of these. new jacket color, new vinyl color, new back cover design (looks more like cd version than 1st press, new inner sleeve (with lyrics, new pic, and design on both sides...no more crappy clear plastic thing), new label designs. haven't actually seen it yet...should be in coming in this week though. should be available in the next couple days after i inspect and make sure everything is ok.
  7. wow. weird. i feel so desired. unfortunately certain members of the band went as far as to "hate" vinyl that our vinyl output was quite limited. One day when I become independently wealthy I will release the first 6 songs on "Which Side Are You On" as a 7inch as originally intended. All 3 Worthless United CD releases are still available at www.chunksaah.com as well as Right To Assemble Vol. 1 7" and Right To Assemble Vol. 2 LP. The Worthless (not to be confused with the band The Worthless) CD "Nice Night" is out of print and I have no copies. I still have a personal reserve of "Revenge of Dr. Stanley" and "Split" 7 inches. I'm sure they are not had to find on ebay or in 50 cent record bins but if someone is really looking for one just email me and maybe you have something I want and we could trade. The other band on the "Split" (featuring "Your Ass Is Grass and Worthless is the Lawnmower", the song made famous by a band from Richmond) was S.O.V. which became Straight To Hell (not the better know band of the same name) and then Let It Burn and now those little peckers play in the Bouncing Souls and the Loved Ones so you might have to look in the dollar bin for that one now. And if you were into Worthless United might I suggest checking out another former band I did with the W.U. drummer called rock, star. Our only vinyl output is on the Right To Assemble Vol. 2 but our fine CD "Inamorato" is available at www.chunksaah.com and/or check it out at myspace.com/rockstar or www.rockcommastar.com
  8. i haven't been able to find anything except that grandpa boy record though i do have a promotional 7" for 14 Songs but it doesn't have any music on it. i thought that was pretty cool.
  9. figured i would forward this contest on (if it hasn't already been written about), especially for the 2 people here that like the ratchets...the red square record mentioned features "ramona" and "oh yeah", two original songs "inspired" by the ramones and are the last recordings we made (along with the jchurch cover that appeared on the lance tribute/benefit cd) and the record was used for promo purposes only. anyway...pretty rad contest......... - - - - Hey pals... just thought you might appreciate the heads up... 10. I have a few copies left of this that I have for sale at www.chunksaah.com in the "vinyl" section of the "store" if anyone is interested. Admittedly they are a bit pricey but like I said they are the last of what I have (I was one of the 4 people that put it out). And while you're there you can pick up releases by other Vol. 2 acts such as The Measure, Rock,Star, and Static Radio...check it out! Right To Assemble "Volume One " This compilation 7" represents a time and place. You all know the stories about New Brunwsick...the great bands and the great parties...The Bouncing Souls, Lifetime, and Sticks & Stones. Years later bands like Midtown, Thursday, and Saves The Day would claim The Hub City as their city of origin. Well somewhere in between all of that The Degenerics, Stormshadow, Heidnik Stew, Fanshen, Try.Fail.Try., and Worthless (United) were the glue that held the New Brunswick scene together by playing local basements and halls, by releasing records independently, and promoting a healthy and vibrant scene though co-operation and unity. This compilation sought to further these notions and encouraged the Do It Yourself spirit. Pick up this politically charged hardcore punk 7" featuring some of the best New Brunswick bands that never quite made it out of the basement. Side A: 01. The Degenerics - What'll You Do? 02. Stormshadow - Drinking Gasoline In Hell 03. Heidnik Stew - One and the Same Side B: 01. Fanshen - Boiling Over / You Know 02. Try.Fail.Try - For Freedom 03. Worthless - Something For Everyone
  11. so i have the "tinnitus" 7"...well not really cause the actual record is missing...but i have the cover and insert...except i really don't have the cover cause i have this weird cover with a note on the back saying "this is not the real cover. UPS fucked up our delivery and so you get this gem. It's not limited edition, it is stupid" and it goes on about how to get a real copy of the cover. has lifetime logo on front...all print is in blue. has anyone seen these? is there a market for a stupid AND limited tour cover version for this record?
  12. hello...first time posting. the person that started this thread told me that it was through this site that so many people found out about the loved ones vinyl so quickly so i figured i'd come by and check it out and saw this thread and figured i'd respond... on occasion i look up our releases on ebay and it's a little disturbing to see things advertised as being "out of print" when i look at our storage room and see heaps of releases supposedly "out of print". the loved ones splatter is not neccesarily out of print...it's just been out of stock on our end. there is nothing to keep us from repressing the colored/splattered version except that we have plenty in black left and there is no need for a repress. i see a lot of bouncing souls chunksaah 7"s on ebay that are "out of print"...they are not (except for johnny x). i'm not even sure if the splattered version is that much more rare than the black. i don't remember the pressing info but we probably did 500 color and 500 black...maybe 500 color and 1000 black. we don't really push the stuff in stores as being colored. if 500 are going to the distributor i usually just throw in 100 color in the hopes that they will spread out and someone will get stoked when they get home from the store. at least that's what was done with the newest world/inferno and also the off with their heads / measure split. as far as "finding a box"...i dunno why lumberjack/mordam didn't sell the colored version first but a couple weeks ago they returned a whole lot of stuff to us which sucks that they didn't sell in the first place and now we need to find a way to store all this stuff (we only saved the vinyl...cds went to the dump). since a lot of people ask about them (and since we're broke as fuck) i decided to put them up for sale and sold out in a little over 4 hours (it wasn't that many copies in the first place but enough to bother putting online). i didn't even get to send out an email to lure people to our site to see the other stuff we sell...oh well...i'm def not complaining and i thank all of you on here that ordered a copy(s)...in hindsight i almost wish that i had been devious and just put them on ebay or sold them at a higher price. but no...no tricks...just some needed sales. so thats whats up...straight from the source. i'll have to check out this board more often and maybe we can all talk shit. thanks again if you picked up a copy of the loved ones splatter and sorry if you missed out...who knows...maybe there's another box hidden under a case of mighty mighty bosstones / madcap splits or j church / plungers splits or something. by the way...we have a split 7" sale at www.chunksaah.com and also a pretty cd sale as well, both will be ending soon, so if you haven't done so already come take a look. word! - zak / chunksaah records
