We all know there is "Finding The Rhythms" and "Live at the Hardback" in the works from No Idea but beyond that, I have no clue. I can see Side One buying CR's back catalogue. Realistically No Idea only had 2 HWM's albums (and a slew of 7"s), 1 live CR album and his initial 7" series. Everything else by HWM has been released under Doghouse, Some, Epitaph and Rise. Chuck Ragan has always been on Side One I thought.

What a tease
oh. My bad. Haha. I see now how my message could be taken that way. I'm just becoming impatient and do not want the thread to get lost and forgotten about. Again, my bad.

maybe we should keep this thread alive....i hope they come out soon.

I might still have this cd. Not 100% positive though. If I can find it i'll burn you a copy of it. Give me a few days to look around my house and i'll DM you when I know.

Does anyone on this board know who Ink Cartridge Funeral was? If so, does anyone know of a way I can get a copy or mp3's of the only C.D. they put out that had 9 songs on it. Thanks.

Bicycle reissued Prison Bound not too long ago which was official. I don't think they release on Time Bomb anymore for some reason. I can't see Bull Moose selling boots either.
Well giddy-up! Thanks for the good info. Oh, happy day!

Social Distortion’s first ever vinyl box set, From A ‘G’ to A Gent, collects the band’s independent label releases from their rough and tumble punk rock beginnings to the roots rock sound that defined a generation. Includes Mommy’s Little Monster, Prison Bound, Sex, Love and Rock ‘n’ Roll and the compilation Mainliner (Wreckage From The Past) on unique colored vinyl, all in a collectable slipcase.

Thanks for the heads up. I read it as well. We are not sure of it is an official release or some bootleg being created. This 4xLP is coming out on a label called Bicycle Music Recordings. Social D only releases music under Epitaph or Time Bomb Recordings. Take for instance that "Story of My Life" 5xLP box set. Its a bootleg and I believe this new 4xLP box set will be as well. If not, I will be all over it.

Anyone know what's up with this?

Don't know but we ought to keep our eyes peeled on that one. Maybe it's official but maybe its a bootleg. If this is an official release I am sure SD will have an announcement for it.

You guys aren't alone...I am with ya. If its chronological then I suspect "Caution" is up next. (fingers crossed)

got my other copy from Banquet. I will say that the album rocks and the silver with black is in fact solid silver with black swirling throughout. I think its the best color yet that I've seen. Very pleased.

The one Andy posted above is the silver black that he ordered from Banquet. I have received the clear black and the silver black and they look very similar.
that's too bad. I will have 2 very similar looking records then. I thought the Indie Exclusive would be a solid Silver with Black. Stupid mockups are misleading. I feel cheated. Haha. Good thing its a dope album.
-
Does anyone have a picture (other than the mockup) of the Silver/Black from Indie Exclusive/Banquet Records. I'm being impatient. Still waiting for mine to arrive.
-
Looks to me like the record above is the Clear with Black Swirl/Smoke from Kings of the Road EU. Mine came yesterday and it is 180g.
The Black and Silver is 180g. as well supposedly and is on its way from Banquet Records via Indie Exclusive.

Follow Wax Mage on instagram (@waxmagerecords). They do a lot of cool handpours and one-off experiments and shit.
Fucking look at this shit
That is just truly amazing. What a cool job to have.

Wish I could spend the day in a record pressing plant and see how the magic happens.

Also, happy release day for the album, how'd everyone enjoy the record? I liked it a lot on the first listen, probably gonna play it again throughout the weekend.
My nephew and I jammed out in the car today. We like it. I feel it has a very "Gold Album" feel.
-
Has anyone ever purchased a record based on the color and not the band? I have never questioned doing this until I saw Pirate Press Records Record Of The Week (ROTW) website. Some of those color combinations are so amazing looking. Some of the bands I have never even heard of but I was tempted to buy some based on how they look. I think I have a record collecting problem. Haha
-
Can't seem to find the other 50/50 split colors. They are the least rare but it would be nice to have them as well. To clarify I am not the 50/50 split with splatter but the regular Orange/Clear and Blood Red/Clear split. Looked all over. I found the solid Red on Banquet Records and SRC. Any thoughts?

Everyone's voice changes over the years and so will the sound of a singers voice. Milo is a 50 year old man now and I'm sure he sounds different then from the 80's and 90's. Plus he even mentioned in a recent article that he enjoyed going into the studio and blowing his vocal chords out everyday while recording. Sounds to me like he was trying. Bottom line.... Long time fan, love the new tunes.
-
Wow. A ton of different colors. I feel this is out of control. I think the black/silver is the best looking one yet. (in my opinion). Looks like those links are "sold out".
www.banquetrecords.com/EPIDHS has them though. Good luck!!!!

sold. Thanks gang!
