If it's going to go that cheaply it may as well go to one of you

My 2nd press of the LD/TA split from No Sleep sounds pretty muddy... not gonna lie. I can't speak for 1st press or anything but compared to other NSR releases it sounds pretty bad.
I think this might be the recording, the mp3s aren't the clearest or crispiest sounding either.

Shock Value and Sick People are great.

thank you for all the orders!
luke, what riddle?
In the paypal comments! It's a tricky one too, or at least I think so.
-
Hey Tom, no using google to solve the riddle I added to my order.
-
I got an email back from them, they let me pay by paypal for international. It's like a 25c fee. Email them, it's still super cheap.
-
Apparently there's trouble ordering these if you're not from America? Anyone know if you can get them from anywhere else?
-
Anyone know if you should order it then get them to combine shipping or wait for them to email back about it first?
-
I heard somewhere that Doghouse was doing another pressing, maybe this is it?

This should give you a decent idea. Good band.

Good:
Hobbledehoy Records - Tom rules and everything ships super fast and is packaged well.
Mightier Than Sword - Only dealt with them once. They missed an LP out of my order and got it to me within a week and I'm on the other side of the world.
Side One Dummy - sent me the wrong Title Fight colour, emailed me back straight away and got the right one to me quickly.
Reaper Records - I ordered a Terror record off them once and got it six days later. It was a pre-order too. Impressed.
Resist Records - Graham is really nice and shipping is really fast.
Topshelf Records - They just rule in every way.
Bad:
I've been pretty lucky and haven't had any bad experiences. Even my RFC stuff gets to me pretty much on time.

still waiting for my clear to arrive
Me too.

Want the grey so badly. Wonder how fast these are going to go.
-
they should have shipped the poster like how graveface sends them--folded loosely over the record so that it doesn't crease (and you can still use a record mailer)
edit: satan post, #666
I'm in Australia and that is exactly how they shipped mine.
-
I haven't received mine (i'm in Australia though) but I had no idea when they were meant to be sent out. As long as I get them I'm chill.
-
SideOneDummy got back to me really fast and they've already sent a blue copy out to me. Label is backed!
They said there were a few errors in postage but they won't know about it unless you email them, so if something similar happened to you contact them asap and they should be able to help you out.
-
I ordered a blue copy the moment they went up and my order arrived today (I'm in Australia) and it's black. I emailed SideOneDummy but I'm not hopeful.
-
I"m not so bothered about this being delayed. It's just an acoustic compilation (albeit a good one) and the mp3s are enough to tide me over. As long as it eventually turns up I'm fine.
-
Grabbed a blue. Good start to the day.

Just missed out before and had my money refunded, guess I'll be sending it straight back your way. Thanks.

Not sure if Childish Gambino would be everybody's cup of tea. I certainly didn't expect it to be mine, but Culdesac was great and his EP was even better. After being fiercely independent and putting all his music out for free via the internet, he has signed to indie label Glassnote Records, who will be putting out his new full-length Camp later this year.
The most interesting part is this, taken from the article above:
No word if any of his back catalogue will be pressed though.
