  1. There are some exceptions, but that is the case for most comics from the 90's. Why is that? The 90's had some decent series. One that stands out to me is the Maximum Carnage series.
  2. Really? Thats such a bummer, I have no idea what I paid for it, I hope it wasn't much. It seems as all comics from 1990 and up, have no value.
  3. Honestly, you might be right except for the Wolverine/Kitty Pryde comic.
  4. Original post: Anyone else into comic books around here? I have a few I'm looking to sell. Kitty Pryde and Wolverine. Nov. 84. 1/6. Autographed by Al Milgrom. Spider Man. Volume 1. No 25. August 1992. X-Men Unlimited. Volume 1. No. 1. June 1993. X-Men. Alpha. Volume 1. No 1. Feb. 1994. Update: Since these are worthless, its an open comic discussion. If needs to be moved, say so.
  5. Was it worth the wait? I'm contemplating ordering it again.
  6. Going to the post office either way tomorrow, bump.

  8. From MTS's Facebook. This was posted on a thread on there. "Timmy Brothers hey guys, my name is timmy and i handled laying out the artwork for this release. figured i'd give you some inside scoop from my firsthand experience on this project and hopefully it can calm your nerves a bit. i started production on this release all the way back at the end of 2010. this has been plagued with hangup on top of hangup from the start. i know we sat on it for a few months (on multiple occasions) in order to get certain copyright approvals for the 7 inches. the original packaging design wasn't cutting it in real life, as the materials weren't strong enough to withstand the weight of the 3 additional 7 inches. it changed printers ... twice. there was always something that seemed to hang us up for a week or two at a time. i've worked with R.J. on multiple releases and we've had our disagreements, but the dude's heart is in the right place. this isn't a scam. in my opinion, it merely shouldn't have been announced when it was announced. we all know that we learn from our mistakes and become a better person / businessman / sandwich-maker - because of it. i'd most definitely be upset if i was in your situation - and i think that the anger has been fueled by some promises that don't seem to have been followed through with. unless there is something going on here that i don't know about, you guys will most definitely get your records, and they will be awesome. there was a lot of love, and stress that went into this and i don't think it was for nothing. you guys deserve an apology for sure, but in the meantime, pump some lossless TOYP&J FLAC files and live life to the fullest. i hope this can all be resolved in a professional manner. super unfortunate it had to get to this point."
  9. Did you guys get a notice saying it was shipping yesterday or was it delayed again? I'm curious.
  10. Im shocked at all the stories of people calling Pay Pal and getting nowhere. I called twice, 2 weeks apart, maybe they took pity on me and gave me my full refund.
  11. Whatd you say? I was refunded my whole amount ($34) earlier today.
  12. How'd that work? Just re-explained the situation, or were you being sarcastic?
  13. Not to change the subject from pogs, but I spoke with Paypal again and I am officially refunded and done with this release until Travis represses it.
  14. I hope SRC releases a follow up, I could use some entertainment.
  15. To those who have filed claims with your bank and been reimbursed immediately, what did you say? I have never filed a dispute with my bank before. I have TD Bank so I don't it will do me much good.
  16. Maybe I'll call back? I'm shocked you got such a response and I got none of that.
  17. yeah i did, they order was placed outside of my paypal but still tied with paypal so it didnt show up in my history but they found it and put in a claim. also, paypal just gave me $25 to tide me over, and is still trying to push for the original $44 i lost through placing the order for the 180g package. basically if enough people call they will do an investigation, go in his account, and refund as many people as possible with the available funds. paypal will also blacklist RJ's social security number so he can never use them again for anything, not even personal reasons or business reasons. im stoked paypal gave me $25 though guaranteed. i didnt ask for it the rep just said that it was shitty situation and he will give me some money now to help tide things over. When did you call? I called around 1 this afternoon and just got total BS.
  18. wow, first person to ever call me a hipster, that hurts more than anything. i have absolutely no regrets about not reading or seeing any of those franchised books/movies. i can certainly guarantee none of the shit would live up the insane hype (to me) that surrounds any of it....all of this shit is subjective....do keep that in mind. sci-fi doesn't really do it for me, so I'm fairly positive that none of that would do a damn thing for me either if you enjoy donating your money to see these movie-makers and actors enjoy insane luxuries....by all means, spend your money wherever you please. My money will not fall into their greedy hands. Did you see The Muppets?
  19. You got more info then I did, they just said they will flag and wait and see, when I called.
  20. Sigh, I was wishful thinking since I paid 15 for Dude Ranch and Enema.
  21. Press something simple. Splatter seams to always make a single LP cost 20 bucks before shipping.
