  1. I don't know if you're still in Copenhagen, but I like to visit Repo Man Records and Route 66 when I'm there. They're both in Nørrebro.
  2. The only two options have is taking the train at 0:30 (home at 4) or 2:00 (home at 6:30). I really don't want to miss the last part of Gaslight since they're the main reason I am going, but by taking the later train I will probably end up walking around in a city I don't know for an hour with freezing temperatures, I will have to switch trains and be late for work (not really that bad ). Still not really sure what I going to buy, but I just hope it will be worth the $150 USD.
  3. Thanks everybody. I already tried asking the venue but they just said they didn't know. Thanks again!
  4. I know this is a stupid question, but how long does an average punk rock show last? I am planning on going to the Polar Bear Club/Frank Turner/Gaslight Anthem show in Copenhagen tomorrow and it is actually going to be my first real concert. Getting to Copenhagen is going to involve a 3½ hour train ride and I will have to order the tickets tonight. The problem is that I have to go to work the next morning at 6 AM so I really have to catch the first train home. So if the bands are supposed to start playing at 9 PM, at what time should I expect the show to end? Thanks!
  5. Cool. I'll definitely be trying it out. The old site is coded in PHP but I'm thinking about coding the new one in Ruby just to make it a little bit more of a challenge
  6. Thanks for the answers and encouragement all of you guys. Thanks for the link. I can definitely use it for inspiration, but I'll probably not be as excessive. Seems okay, but i just find it a little bit confusing and crowded. Would you rather see it categorized as on Record Nerd or alphabetized were all the formats are together for the same artist as some people do on their Google Spreadsheets? Would the problem be solved if you could add multiple records on the same page or is it the input forms that are slowing the process down? Good idea. I was also planning on making a clone function so if you had different colours of the same record, you wouldn't have to enter all the data again. It looks really nice. When do you think you'll open the site? I also made the very basics of the site as my final project in programming class last year in school. You can see some screen shots of it below. I might be able to use the structure of it, but I think I'll have to make a new design for it first.
  7. I've been lurking the forums for a while now and I've noticed a few people having some of same frustrations as myself with the already existing collection sites such as Dead Format, Record Nerd and Google Spreadsheets. And since I got laid off at work I've been having way too much spare time that I might just as well use on something productive. So I was thinking that with the input and help from you people I would be able to create a more suitable website to catalog our vinyl collections. So would you be interested in trying a new site or do you think there's already enough of these online vinyl listing pages? And if you could maybe write what you like about the site you're using right now, and what you would like to see on this new site. And name suggestions would also be appreciated as well
  8. Ha ha... They told me the exact same thing when after 6 weeks I still hadn't got my Paramore LP. Also when I check my order status on their webstore it hasn't even been marked as shipped.
