  1. Any reason why the ISP was never named through all of this? Interested people want to know...
  2. I have some sympathy for them, because just like Pastepunk, they do their thing part-time, after working full-time jobs and all. Maybe it's not wise to do a label at all if that's the case, but I know they mean well. The label also grew really fast with a lot of awesome really early on and couldn't financially keep up with that pace - something that has doomed a ton of labels in the past. It's the curse of mild success and no time to keep up with it.
  3. Great piece - definitely curious what State of Mind will think about Alex's statement, since the label JUST announced this week that the split will be CIS and Back Up Plan. Ah well... I hope that maybe when touring isn't in their future anymore b/c of jobs/careers/grown-up stuff, they'll take a page from Capital and keep writing new music and playing local shows and just be a cornerstone in their scene.
  4. JORDAN! Yo. Further thoughts: - Nothing at all wrong with Blue Moon - Stella is also a solid choice - I thought Grolsch would be awesome since supposedly it's been brewed in some form or another since the 1600s, but I find it to be very bland, and certainly not worth the price. The brand is now owned by SABMiller. Lame.
  5. I remember having that revelation. I can't recommend Allagash White enough. http://www.allagash.com/white.htm
  6. Bumpity Anyone else download a copy? Thoughts? I definitely recommend the De La Hoya, Nakatomi Plaza, Jumpercable, Memorial, Paper the Operator, and Scream Hello songs.

  8. Obviously you're affiliated with the website of the same name? I check that site pretty often. Yup - Jordan here. I lurk on this board all the time. Glad you're a fan of Pastepunk.
  9. Intellectual Property Attorney for a federal agency in the DC area.
  10. Not entirely on point, but I've always liked how places such as No Idea and Revhq include free stuff in your order. Always great to get something good that's totally unexpected.
  11. It's all about eMusic. No restrictions on files; the best indie selection there is.
  12. I don't think I even made it to 20 seconds before it went straight into the garbage.
  13. About time I stopped lurking on this thing and got involved (and thanks for the welcome Scott). There's a good vibe on this board, and Virgil is the man.
