  1. I rarely participate in these rants, but just want to put something out there. What happen to letting artist write lyrically from there life experience? I think many people regardless if they are religious, Christian or former religious folks share a similar life outlook as Dustin. I for one am curious if with all the life change that went down with Mars Hill that we see a more "Bazan" type lyrical album. I will still be buy the vinyl as everyone else on here, haters and all, will be.

  2. That NJ/MWOU split is a tough one to get. I just kept finding people with it on trade list and finally found someone willing to sell. I still remember going to see these bands on tour (NJ just changed names from Lutikriss) and saw the vinyl for sale for $5. Wasn't collecting then, funny that it is now so elusive.

  3. Got this email today:

The official band pre-order for "Specter At The Feast" is now up on the BRMC Website

There are a variety of package options to chose from, including two very limited edition bundles that feature special wood art prints.

"Specter At The Feast" will be released on March 18th and all orders will come with a digital download of the album, including bonus tracks and content on release day.

While on the site - check out the Fifth Installment of the "Specter At The Feast" Short Film Series that debuted today, and download the "Let The Day Begin - EP" for free.

I ordered just the vinyl. I love this band, great live shows, but I can't justify $250 for a etched piece of wood or even $50 for a shirt and LP. $37 shipped is a bit much, but like I said love this band.

  4. That is such bull! EMI should be able to see that BCR released all the others and let them release this last one. Sounds like Brent had a really cool die-cut idea for the packaging. They would get there money and we would get a label that knows how to do a proper vinyl release. As stated above I know BCR would do better than the wonderful smooth job T&N did with ACB vinyl?! Also this might be a whole nother thread, but what has happen to the music industry when a few super corporate labels hoard licensing and the neither the band OR label that released the album can license? Just all the more reason to support independent music and stick it to the man! That my rant for the day!
