  1. So, I'm more of a casual HIM fan, and while I wouldnt mind owning all these, as discussed above, tracks are missing from a couple of the albums, including both the colored and black LP of RR for instance. I did a little research, and it looks like My Sweet 666 is on the first album, but sounds vastly inferior (IMHO) to the version on RR. Seems like I might not pull the trigger on these after all. I'll need to do more research, but if anyone else has any ideas/info about the differences, please let me know.

This is the original tracklist of RR. :D They re-recorded Sweet 666 for the US version of RR. So just don't worry.

  2. Does anyone thinks the 109 and 199 option is confusing? Picture shows that the 109 doesnt have the slipmat, CD and poster, but the description says slipmat is included?

I actually wanna get the box but really dont want to pay 90 extra for coloured LPs, poster and CD. So I just need some confirmation as I want that slipmat!

After come calculation, $80.01 is for the custom box, poster, slipmat and thumbdrive. is this worth it in your opinion?

I think 109 option is with single 180g LPs and 199 option is with colored double LPs (include remixes) can't sure that colored records are 180g or not.

  3. HIM is also reissuing each title individually as a deluxe double-CD in a limited-edition crushed velvet case, as an LP on standard 140-gram vinyl and as a deluxe colored double-LP. (Razorblade Romance, for example, will be magenta, whileLove Metal will be gold.)

Box sets are only with 180g I think.

  4. Don't waste your time going to Korea. I lived in Seoul from 2012-2013 and vinyl scene is pretty crappy. Purple records in Seoul is small, over priced and happens to be the only place I found in the entire city that sold new wax. If you are looking for classic rock then it may be worth a visit. I had a few small shops that I visited often where I scored a bunch of classic rock albums. Most of the shops were very disorganized and piled to the ceiling with a hodgepodge of various artists and genres. I usually grab a coffee and dig, grab lunch and dig more.

Agree. Don't fly over for vinyl shopping here I mean Seoul. There are few shops in Hongdae and Dongdaemun area. However none of them are not in my recommended list. Yes very disorganized, don't even think diskunion! Maybe you could find a pearl in the mud like old Korean pressing.

Rather using Korean shops, I frequently visit Tokyo the record heaven. It's just two hours far from Seoul.
