All I really wanted this year is SDRE and Nirvana...and maybe the Soundgarden. Hopefully I can find these online.

I finally opened my order from Dr. Strange - they left out the White Stripes lp I ordered. No notice or anything - freaking annoying since I handed the copy at my local to the guy behind me since I ordered from the Dr. I then passed on it at Rough Trade in London. I think it isn't asking too much for an email saying something can't be fulfilled. I think I'm pissed a bit because this is the first time Dr. Strange has ever let me down in well over a decade of orders. 

Exact same thing happened to me last year.  That's why I posted a warning earlier in this thread, and did not buy anything from them this year.  Last year I sent an email to them that it doesn't take much effort to email people advising them that they are out of stock so that we can look for the record/buy it elsewhere. 

The guy responded by basically stating he would file my email away in the trash.  Lost a customer for life, maybe others by the sound of it.

Any advice: Should I keep my order with Dr.Strange for the JEW 7"  or get it from banquet. I really want it and the order status for Dr. Strange says approved but I have heard nothing back from them about shipping.

I would get another copy to be safe.  At worst, you'll have 2 and can trade it for something.  You'll be kicking yourself if your Dr. Strange order comes in and there is no jimmy 7" in there and they didn't tell you they were sold out (like they did to me last year).

Be careful with Dr. Strange.  As happened to me last year, they don't tell you if they ran out of copies of stuff you ordered until you receive it in the mail and notice you didn't get everything you ordered.  They list everything and then just send whatever they have in stock without telling whether or not your entire order was fulfilled.  So you think you got a copy of something and don't bother picking it up elsewhere.

Nevermind, It came today.  I got the $60 bundle and it all came in great shape.  LP came with the CD in a paper sleeve, but the bundle also came with the CD in normal packaging.  kudos merchnow and rise records....and of course the j-sound

Anybody get theirs yet?  I thought I remember seeing somewhere that the pre-orders were getting shipped around this time even though it is technically a 2/19 release....correct me if I'm wrong?

Mine apparently got lost in the mail, they emailed me asking if I had received it yet. Cool that they came to me and told me it must be lost since I didn't get any tracking or shipping notice. Should be a replacement coming my way eventually.

yeah thought it might be an exclusive song too, but that's ok. almost $5 shipping is kind of lame for a two song 7" but $10 total isn't too bad i guess.
