  1. let me namedrop my (90s) couple of names: Heckle - The Complicated Futility of Ignorance, on Hopeless. Vinyl existed. Who knows anything about what they did after that band? Brand New Unit - Diddley Squat, incredible album, never saw that on Lp Latch Key Kids singles, mentioned above, really fun The Force, AFI related band, don't know if it falls in the skatepunk category, I used to put them there, one cd whose title I can't remember, good Red Fish, one single and one cd, Steve Badillo was in the band, ok band but not really worth a repress, I guess Ten Foot Pole, Swill, first cd ever, does the vinyl exist? HFL (mentioned before), vinyl existed and they're quite easy to find Grabbers, later on Fearless, but the first cd on Dr. Dream was possibly the best one. skatepunk? don't know but used to have a few sponsors! Not really skatepunk but in the same area: Cadillac Tramps, lucky the one who can see them sometimes in the US Fury 66, the album on Sessions (which had some other nice band on the label). I know the singer later formed Audiocrush, antyhing after that? Seven Hate from France, somehow they always seemed to me the skatepunk version of early Les Thugs Hallraker from Boston, a couple of eps for what I know in the late nineties
  2. thanks a lot for this! I've a friend who has been living there for 4/5 years now, he lives on centre ave, but I'd love to get to the city with my own knowledge Food, almost everything, honestly I never understood how Europeans can complain about food in the US, that might be different but I always had fun eating around over there. Drop me your top 3 of Pittsburgh if you see this message, Primanti Bros is already on the list I'd like to see Kevin Seconds on 27, if you happen to be there and hear some Italians in the crowd I'll get you a drink!
  3. Thanks for the info! Some Boston names are new to me, while I'm sure I've been at In Your Ear and that's an interesting place for sure... keep it coming
  4. Hello everyone, I'm travelling from Italy to Pittsburgh and Boston during late March/early April, it's a short trip to meet a friend and relatives. I was wondering if anyone can suggest record stores / skateshops / nice little area to walk around. I've been in Boston a few times before and I remember Newbury Comics is quite big to browse, I know Armageddon has a new shop in Cambridge, and I remember a few more shops in Cambridge/Harvard. Last time I was there Allson was becoming quite popular, is there anything there? I'm sure I visited a place which sold some vinyl and rockabilly/punkrock type clothing, but can't really remember the name. I've never been to Pittsburgh before so any suggestion (besides the "don't go there") is appreciated. Thanks! Marco
  5. TERRIBLE! I just got a box from them, postage to Italy was ok and shipping was pretty fast. they also have this for sale http://www.musicfearsatan.com/fr/reference/quicksand-slip-vinyl_lp__black_.html I'm not really updated about its possible repress, and btw it doesn't look like a repress. anyone knows anything? thanks
