  1. Forget the large cd unit, rip that shiz to FLAC (or some other lossless format) and put it all on a NAS. Then get a receiver with an Ethernet connection. You'll never have to touch a disc again. And you can access it all almost instantly. Then put all those CDs in the garage or attic.

Can you explain this a little more? I have an external HD I ripped a bunch of CDs to (as .wav, not flac), is there a way to tie this into a NAS? I don't know shit about this, but putting CDs into storage sounds like a great idea.

  2. I found some great boxes in the Home Office section of Walmart. They are paper or document boxes that even have a little label box on the front. I have two each of two different sizes and they fit 7"s very well. I checked the website and I saw a couple of similar things, but didn't see anything close enough to link to here.

DVD storage boxes work well if you don't mind then sticking out of the top a couple inches.. http://www.amazon.com/Ideastream-Snap-N-Store-Storage-Accents-SNS01524/dp/B000EFJY3U/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1370373596&sr=8-1&keywords=DVD+storage+box

  3. Edit: As if on cue, Micah posts this on facebook. "I’ve been touring for the last two months with neither of my solo records available on cd due to the fact that I can’t afford to purchase my own records from the old label that first released them."

You should tell him to get in on the 27% discount.

I wonder is Virgil did any sort of contracts, or could he burn some copies himself?

  4. season finale? the last 5 episodes i had to have kleenex by my side. but that season finale still holds my #1 spot as my favorite season finale to any cable or television show. that series just takes a lot out of you on the final season. fuck the sopranos ending.. six feet under finale was the one to watch.
