for me, USPS was ~$15 and UPS was ~$11.
For me, USPS was ~$15 as well, but UPS thankfully was ~$8

TROLOLOLOLOLOLOLOOOOOOOOOO. This fool actually put it up for a grand? I was being a 100% sarcastic when I made that assertion.
I assumed you had seen the listing, since you were dead on with the OP's demands. LOL. Some fool will bite though, sadly enough.

I'll be surprised if anyone bids at all. $650 is fucking outrageous for 4 records. Deja is definitely going to see a repress, most likely as a 10-year anniversary pressing, because that's what is done nowadays.
-
Ahhhh. I'm still waiting on my 7" box set and Seafoam green 12"
Hopefully it comes in today. How is this record, compared to Rescue? I liked Rescue, there were a few really great songs on it. No matter what, though, I always go back to Discovering the Waterfront. That is one of my favorite records of all time.

You know what I've never seen before? A Silverstein tattoo.

Hot Cash is fucking gay. Taking the ENTIRE vinyl section offline? WTF is up with that? What if I didn't have hot cash and just wanted to get some vinyl? (Granted, I know the codes aren't unique, but you get my point!)
-
I have a few 1600 Microsoft Points codes ready to be sent out and redeemed. I got them cheap on Black Friday, so I'm selling them for $15. All I ask is that payment is sent as a gift through PayPal (screw fees!). I will send the code along with picture proof of the points card to anyone who purchases.
PM if interested.
I have a 100% feedback rating on eBay, check it out for yourself.

I've made a deal with someone on the forums here, and received a copy. Gotta love that VC-family!

Is this technically OOP? I understand its not available on Blu-Ray, but it is still available on regular DVD. Couldn't we compare this to a 180 gram pressing and regular pressing. If the 180 gram version of the record sells out but the regular version is still in print, is it technically OOP?
Just to start a debate! =] and a free bump. I wish I could afford this on Blu-Ray, but in all honesty, I highly doubt there is much difference in the quality between regular DVD and Blu-Ray on this.
You bring up a good point. I just meant that the Blu-Ray version is OOP. I've never actually compared the 2, but Blu-Rays generally look better on an HDTV. I cannot stand Standard Def on my HDTV, it's just terrible IMO. The movie is too hilarious to not have more copies readily available on Blu-Ray. Fricking DVD version is $4.99 on Amazon, while the Blu-Ray that's being sold on there is $68.99!!!! Insane I tell you, INSANE!
-
Dude that is OOP, VERY hard to find. If anyone is willing, you could probably get 30-40 on the Bay. Just saying, I paid a hefty sum for my copy, cause I just had to have it.

VA VC represent
Haha, hell yeah dude. We're everywhere up in VC posting in all tha threadz!

fair oaks carrys a lot, so does dulles. both va stores.
The HT in Greenbrier Mall in Chesapeake used to carry some, but hasn't been listed in any of Travis' posts recently that I've followed, but the HT in Patrick Henry Mall in Newport News has a decent selection from what I have gathered online, just haven't made the trip across the bay to see for myself. I agree though, vinyl definitely has gotten more popularity in recent years and HT retail should cash in.
-
I hear that. I don't even know where pembroke would put vinyl anymore since they got rid of most of their music selection.
I haven't been there in awhile. I guess that explains why Patrick Henry's Hot Topic gets most of the vinyl now. The hot topic at Greenbrier Mall USED to have a decent selection, I wonder what happened there? Oh well, I'll just have to order this online, I suppose.

I'm looking to buy a copy of Senses Fail's "Still Searching" on the Red variant /200 that was/is coming out very soon. So angry I missed out on the pre-order by a couple of hours. I'm not too confident obtaining this variant will be possible, but a man's gotta try, right? PM me with offers. I'd be willing to double the cost of the record, straight up to any willing sellers. (Roughly $20 for pre-order, I believe, and I'd be willing to shell out $40 plus shipping for this record)
-
No stores in Virginia yet!??? I'm hoping at the very least, Patrick Henry Mall in Newport News gets some, but Pembroke or Lynnhaven Mall would be better, so I don't have to get on the HRBT and get stuck in traffic for 20-30 minutes.
-
Damn! I missed out on this by a few hours. If anyone is selling a copy of the Red variant, I can make it worth your while ($$$). I'd pay $30-40 plus shipping fees for this record.
-
Dude, that sucks. Good luck in your search. I had to look a while before snagging a copy a couple months ago.

I have both Messengers and Constellations. Willing to sell. PM if interested.
- August Burns Red Constellations Black vinyl/Solid State Records
- August Burns Red Messengers white vinyl
Have you PM'd this dude? Sounds like he has what you're looking for.

WTF. I'd rather listen to "Friday" than this hot garbage. I'm going to go saw my ears off now, thanks.

i love how everyone on this board expects a company to have "morals" or "care about their customers" business is business and the people who run these sites have their own problems to deal with and aren't going to attend to every bitchy blink fan who didn't get their record they saw the TOYPAJ as a good investment that flopped on them and no RJ is gone the problem here is BAD BUSINESS not morally corrupt business because in the world of making money it's all about the money not the consumer
Fuck. Where do I start? A little punctuation would do wonders. Also, this might be the stupidest thing I've ever read.
+1 I'm glad I'm not the only one who was left scratching their head after that one. Whew. Run-on sentences are plaguing the internets

Lmfao SRC still has contact with RJ and you think they're doing the morally correct thing? It's nice they're helping people out who ordered the Such Gold records, but what about the people who ordered TOYPAJ and can't get their money back?
How come SRC didn't attempt to get answers for us or attempt to update us? And if they did attempt to get answers, why didn't they mention it? How is it that they know where RJ is and have contact with him, but aren't attempting to update the thousands of people who got their money stolen?
I don't care what you say, I really do like you JerseyDave and you have some of the best posts on these forums, but SRC are still pieces of shit. They're doing what they can to save their businesses' reputation. They don't actually care about their customers or what the morally correct thing to do is. If they did, they wouldn't leave us in the dark. They would have at least said they attempted to ask what was up with TOYPAJ and didn't get a proper response. RJ doesn't deserve the respect of SRC tippy-toeing around him and avoiding the TOYPAJ issue. If they were in the position some of the members of this forum, they would AT LEAST want to hear they asked about the TOYPAJ issue. Just asking him is a lot more than the majority of the people here are capable of doing and knowing someone cared enough to ask would comfort people somewhat.
Shit never changes its color, and SRC are still pieces of shit.
I ordered a copy of TDWP "Plagues" from SRC. I received "With Roots Above and Branches Below". I got to keep the wrong record AND they gave me store credit. I've never heard of a piece of shit giving out free records due to their own mistakes. They could've been dicks and asked me to ship the record back and then sent me the correct one. SRC is okay in my book. Let's just hope it stays that way. No one is perfect, and everyone makes mistakes. It's what you do in the aftermath of those mistakes that defines us as people.

My copies are in maryland!!!! Probably getting my package tomorrow or Friday. So stoked.

You'd be better off putting it on eBay. With news that Travis might be getting it pressed through HT, most people on here might be inclined to wait for that and not pay $50+ for it. Or there is a Thursday collector who just has to have it. Either way, good luck man.
Could someone help me out? (Amazon related)

Yeah, that is really gay. I'd pay a little more for Prime if they would get rid of that function. $70 for a year already is a good ass deal for all the stuff I buy from amazon. I'd probably be okay with $90 or 100, because for me, I easily spent $3k at amazon last year and that's a lotta shipping charges saved.
Oh and OP, if something happens and you're still trying to get it, PM me, I'd be willing to help you out.
