It's unfortunate, but a sad truth nowadays. I wish I could've gotten a preorder on all 3, but with the limited pressing and the fact that these were $25 each shipped instead of $30+ last time, it wasn't possible.

 

Bump for good luck... I got the Teal/White swirl too but on purpose because that's the one I think is gonna look best.

started watching a month ago, watched season 1 and 2 in a matter of a week and got caught up with the current season just before it returned.  long story short, love the show, however; i'm hoping they didn't abandon the plot line with Morgan and Duane Jones.  I don't think Rick has spoken either of their names since season 2.  I really thought they would be in the gated community or (for a second) i thought that was the man on the phone with Rick (before we realized he was having a freak out).  

 

can't wait for whenever they do (or one of them makes their return). it will be very rewarding.

 

Yeah, I too wonder if they're scrapping the Morgan plot line or if they're saving it for a future episode/season. I hope they're ok!

Soo, no one is talking about last night's episode? I'll start. Kind of slow, not a lot of action. Overall a decent episode though. Next episode might be pretty good. What, with Rick, Carl and Michonne going to Woodbury, at least that's what the previews make it look like.

Hey folks, I'm at the show now. The only mech they have at the show are tshirts. I did just shake hands with Zach from Mae however and he said as far as he knows preorders for the second press of Destination will start on Monday. He's going to call his guy after the show to verify that.

How was the show? My friend John, had a ticket for me to go, but I had to work. I want to go to the show tonight (Friday), hope it's not sold out.

I am assuming Tyrese will return (probably with the two young guys, they seem like excellent zombie fodder). They need to meet their one black guy quota. The group is out of balance - probably why rick is all crazy.

Kirkman basically hinted that Tyrese may be coming back on Talking Dead Sunday night. I'm thinking they'll be back. Maybe they were nearby and hear all the gunfire and will come back to help them defend their turf. And yes, they need to meet the 1 black guy quota, for sure. The back and forth between merle and Tyrese would be epic/destructive.

 

Definitely looked like someone with a smaller frame... i.e. female.  I don't think it could have been Milton though because they showed that scene with Andrea going around Woodbury asking where certain poeple were.  The response she gets seems fishy to me (and hopefully did to her too).  So she chases down Milton to ask him where the 'ol governor is and he gives her an incredibly lame response.  He's running errands?  Do you really expect me to believe that?

 

They really, really need to get Tyrese back into the picture.  You can't just tease us with someone who was on the wire and then have them disappear.  Totally not cool.

 

Milton is the worst liar in the history of the world, before and after the apocalypse. See above for my opinion on the whole Tyrese situation.

 

Since we don't know who the person was driving the truck full of zombies... I say we call him/her "Road Rash" until we find out who they really are.

Yeah, he/she ran out the front and got away with the Gov and crew. As soon as the person got out of the van, they exchanged fire with Michonne, and ran towards what was left of the front gate.

I don't know. Never really looked into it. I think they send something in the mail, almost like they have to have an interest in knowing what you are watching. My family got something in the mail a long time ago, and I think it had something to do with Nielsen. A quick google search can find the answer, I'm sure.

Those of you wondering who the armored driver was... I assumed it was Milton since they showed the scene with the Gov. asking him about taking a bullet and the such.

 

It definitely was someone small, like the chick that couldn't shoot a bow, but she got killed in the thunderdome in the mid-season premiere. At least, she got shot right in the chest and fell down. Maybe she ain't dead.

What's crazy to me is everyone talks about the terrible ratings NBC has and almost every TV show on network TV I ever watched (2000 on) has been on NBC.

 

But like Family Guy taught us, unless your a Nielsen family, you can't affect anything.

another great show that just started is The Americans on FX.  i'll stop the derailing here, but god damn thats a good show too

Back on-topic, last night's episode was way better than the mid-season premiere. I hope they can keep the momentum going, but I feel like the next episode might have sort of a lull to it. Unless Rick and the gang try and take back the field again and rebuild the fences. There's so many walkers in there!

 

I love how Rick was totally and completely out of it and then snapped back to reality as soon as the shooting started. I was getting worried he was going to get his face eaten off while trying to make out with not-Lori (air).

Even though Parks and Rec is already on Season 5, you gotta remember that Season 1 was a very brisk 6 episodes. Community has had full seasons ordered until this season. I've done some sniffing around the interwebz and from what I can tell (and it makes total sense), Parks and Rec is most likely going to be renewed for another season just because of the fact that there isn't much else established for their Thursday Comedy slots. That and their ratings have been very decent as far as NBC's standards go.

i just watched it again, and it was definitely a good episode. through the whole series, there are a lot of episodes that don't specialize in laugh out loud humor.. and this was one that went a little heavy on heart.

 

i'm worried about abed and the dean. i'm not quite sure how to explain it, but it seems like their characters are on autopilot headed straight for doom.

 

last night's biggest problem was that it was followed by one of the all time best episodes of parks & rec.

 

I'm taking you at your word. I freaking love Parks and Rec, and if it's the all-time best episode, then it's gonna be awesome. I gotta catch up on the last couple episodes. I hope it (Parks & Rec) doesn't get canceled. I've heard rumors this might be the last season. NBC won't have any comedies left after this season if that happens.

 

30 Rock is done, The Office is nearing the end, Community is not gonna last past this shortened season 4 with the ratings it is getting and Parks and Rec has consistently been my favorite of all the Thursday comedies on NBC but it hasn't performed very well with the ratings either. This fall is definitely going to be interesting on the rainbow peacock channel.

So this thread diverged into "omg you like this band their aweful" and is being followed up with justification. If you don't like a band than don't act like its odd others do. Most rational people like whatever sounds good to them regardles of genre or popularity.

 

Exactly. I like a lot of different stuff, and that's totally fine. Other people like different things, that's okay as well. I for one, have a wide ranging taste in music and yes I think it's odd that I like so much different music. When you break it down to basics, all anyone really wants is a good melody or lyrics that they can identify with. Personally, I love a good melody.

I've lived a sheltered life, if this is something people actually do and I didn't know about it.
