  1. I'm wondering if the pic is not the new pressing... Why would they wait so long to release it if they have finalized copies already? (I understand test presses, but a test press of the final product this much in advance?) Also the picture they have of LISBLIRD is of the cd insert... and yet they made it look like a vinyl cover (you can clearly see the staples on the side)

    thoughts?

Also... why are they not including Silver Bells and God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen on this? ( Could be that they're on there, and Gotee isn't the best with tracklistings). It would make it 19 tracks, but on 2lps... shouldn't be a problem

For Let It Snow, Let IT Reindeer, it is pretty apparent that this picture is not the new pressing. You can see the stapes on the left which indicates that it's the CD booklet. (on the individual order page)

  2. If you're not looking to pay Ebay prices, someone isn't just going to give it away. If you want the record, you're going to have to pay what the market decides is the price for it. People are pretty smart here and they for the most part know what each record is worth an they won't sell for much below that price.

  3. Don't want to get anyone's hopes up, but I recently interview Leighton and he had this to say at the end of the interview:

"Keep Calm: One final question I have, it's a question that you've probably been asked a bunch of times by different interviewers, but I still wanted to hear an answer. Any chance we'll see a vinyl pressing of Illuminate to correspond with the tour?

LA: I don't think I'm allowed to answer that. But it's looking pretty good."

  4. I wasn't told till i opened it up what did or didnt ship. ANd I didnt get a refund until 2 days after the package got here. the only record out of the 3 that didnt ship was the reason i was placing the order in the first place (a xmas gift for my friend). So needless to say i am a little disappointed in this sale, and this is coming from someone who supported oldies in the absolute punk thread. I won't be buying again in the next sale, cause i can't trust that no matter how early i order all my items will arrive

  5. Pop up shop was super cool. Not sure if I'm keeping the sweatshirt I bought yet, as it was kind of expensive and I'm going through a bout of buyers remorse. Also it's ridiculous cause the Large hoodie fits like a mix between a small and a medium, so I had to buy a XXL. Which will severely hurt my ability to resell if i decide i don't want it. But oh well it looks really cool. If anyone you know usually wears L hoodies and wants one of the exclusive hoodies let me know.

  6. I never really looked at the receipt I got for purchasing the $150 bundle (has all the prices for each item) but now that I did, I'm a little pissed.

    1 x $15.00 The Greatest Generation CD

1 x $16.50 The Greatest Generation Signed Booklet

$31.50 for a signed CD. Really guys?

they disavowed the price breakdown from Merchnow (Soupy said it was a load of shit and that it didn't go through them at all) the primary reason they set it higher was to prevent flippers from picking up the 5 different 7 inches and taking advantage of fans on EBay
