I am spending some time in Dubai for a couple of weeks. searching around for a record store and so far the only spot I have found is a Virgin Mega Store in Emerates mall. a large selection of Music On Vinyl stuff. Snagged up the Billy Talent record yesterday. outside of that, the selection was pretty similar to stuff you would find in a Hot Topic / chain record store (i.e. lots of Beatles, AC/DC, Hendrix,) Today I found out that last week was a big vinyl swap meet / trade gathering of some kind. kind of sad I missed it. It was called THIS IS VINYL. anyway... thought this was interesting enough to share.
