hemiolacadence
OK so I have some records in good shape, but they are stored in paper sleeves that are falling apart. This is not ideal right? Can someone post links to plastic sleeves to put records in, and plastic sleeves to put the sleeves themselves in? Also I have a copy of Aja and the sleeve is worn, is it OK to tape those? My grandpa had a copy of Time Out and it's in amazing shape, I noticed he taped the sleeve.
HoneyFrosted
Plastic sleeves are sold at any major record store and many minor ones. The brand is not important, they are all essentially thin plastic sheaths for the jackets and unless you're going deluxe there's really no difference. If no stores are near you, amazon is probably a good resource. I would throw my opinion out and say it's better to glue rather than tape, since glue held it together in the first place and tape is unsightly and may damage your jacket.
