martyk36
After my store bought preamp finally crapped out, I am in need of a good one. Anyone ever get anything from phonopreamps.com? the stuff looks good but I'd like to see how long it takes them to ship something 'cause it appears to be a somewhat small operation. Just wanna see how long I'm gonna have to go w/o listening to records. luckily I have one of those cheap crosley suitcase units in my room, but it's not the same. mods feel free to move if this is in the wrong forum. AsleepOnRocks
I ordered a low end model from them for the sole purpose of recording onto my computer. It was a while ago, but I had no problem with shipping or anything. If I were to need anything like that again, I would certainly have no issue giving them some more business. corbet
I got the $50 phono preamp and I really like it. According to "audiophiles" on head-fi they are really good quality for their price and compare to other companies' $200+ models.
