moonbeams Posted November 20, 2015 Share Posted November 20, 2015 For years I've been using an MC cart, the DL-110. With MC carts, you can't change the stylus and need to buy a new unit. Recently the price has doubled, so I decided to try an MM cart because you can just switch out the stylus when needed. Yesterday I picked up a Sumiko Pearl. I tried it for a few minutes with different records, but it doesn't fit my tastes. It's a beautiful cart and retails for $120. So I'll sell it for $80. I tested it on a few records, just a few minutes total play time. The records it was played on were cleaned with a spin clean and anti-static brush before being played.
