Picked up a Hitachi HT-67...Help needed

Recommended Posts

Picked this up today from a very nice older woman who was the original owner.

Seems to be in awesome shape aside from some scuffs on the dust cover.

Anyone have any experience with Hitachi's? Setup? Maintenance? What to look for?

Came with a Grado GF3 which seems to be in great shape.

Not something I've tried but it looks to be a perfectly good mid 80's style table and the Grado cart is a bonus. The automatic arm looks a complex mechanism though so does that all work ok?

It's not audiophile high end but it's certainly not low end either so I expect it would sound quite nice, spin some discs and enjoy it

Thanks!

Yeah, the arm works great.  The motor and platter and completely smooth and silent,

and I played a few different albums last night that all sounded great.
