A lot of new technology came with these, and were regarded as probably the best thing Polk ever made. Big, heavy speakers with passive subs. Something I've never owned, Ring-Radiator tweeters. If I remember correctly, this line is where they introduced the aerated cones in the woofers. I have heard this previously (ex father in law) hooked up to some vintage McIntosh gear.
