tyjeffdown
They just got these in tonight for the show in Tampa, FL. It has a new song on it and an instrumental song that is just very odd sounding. "He God Has Favored Our Undertakings" and "Dogma" are the tracks. They didn't say when this would be available online or anything. New album comes out Aug 5th though. kurtz
B9 just sent out this e-mail about it. I hope I can snag a copy when the B9 store has them. Ceremony=He-god-Has Favored Our Undertakings Limited Edition EP-OnTour Now! This one has been under wraps for a while but we're glad to announce the limited edition 7" EP from Ceremony titled He-god-Has Favored Our Undertakings. Featuring the song "He-god-Has Favored Our Undertakings" and the exclusive track "Dogma," this is a clear example of what Ceremony is going to be offering on their full-length album Still Nothing Moves You which hits stores August 5th and hits the internet probably 6-7 days before that. Rather than sound like an asshole using nonsensical superlatives (as I still haven't been able to describe this record accurately without sounding like an idiot)-it's fast, it's brutal and it's what you'd expect from Ceremony, but they really stepped it up, from the recording style, to the songwriting-to the album itself-it sounds like nothing else except fast hardcore as you'd expect from Ceremony. That's it. Toast will eventually call me to make fun of me for that, but really-this shit is incredible and that's all I can make of it right now because no other bands come to mind and that's what makes it so good. This was originally planned as a tour-only release, but due to mastering delays, it is arriving TONIGHT for their show. So you can pick this up. Later on, there will be limited copies available from the B9store, but Ceremony (on tour with Life long Tragedy and Sabertooth Zombie) will be your first chance to get it and hear these songs. It's limited to 1500 copies. FAQ: Can Ceremony really have two songs last long enough to put on a 45 rpm 7"? A: It's over four minutes long, so yes. It's longer than the H2O and Ruiner EPs we have done in the past.
