salparadise Posted June 30, 2008 Author Share Posted June 30, 2008 this was a book that was also put out by heartworm, distributed by deathwish, had a bit of a hefty price ($25, hardcover, though). it's only like 100 pages, and it's a collection of short, as far as i know 100% true stories about the author's life. it's a little more awesome to me because a lot of it takes place real close to here. it's fucking good, and it includes a discography for each story. if you think that bothering with that garbage brain dick wad palahniuk is worth your time and money, you should just stop and read this instead. it's probably a little more tame, i mean nothing about entrails being sucked out of your asshole by the pool drain. but it is genuinely fucked material, that is relevant to anyone that was involved in punk rock as a teenager, or been a mischievous little shit. or had totally shitty things happen to them. http://www.theheartworm.com/storePurchase.php?storeID=30 should still have some. http://www.thefader.com/articles/2007/12/17/freak-scene-23 there's an excerpt, there.
