jon720
Didn't they do the Sparrows, Swarm and Sing LP? If they did that was the shittiest communication I've ever had with a label on a release (Got it about 8 months later and the wrong color.) Never would I order from them again. ryantheterrible
that was them. but that sounds odd. maybe there was a pressing problem? i know pat and he just put out 2 radical looking releases.
jon720
There was a huge thread on VLV when it came out. It was absolutely ridiculous. I actually got a copy from Sparrows while they were on tour. I got my original order about 3 months after I saw them with a letter that said "Sorry, we're out of Gold vinyl. Hope you don't mind White." What!? I pre-ordered a specific color and didn't get it? That was bullshit and I'll never give money to them ever. jon720
The whole thing was just shady because tons of people sent him e-mails and no one ever got a word back. The records just started showing up to people week after week.
ryantheterrible
that does sound like it sucks, but the one kid running it is in bands and has a job and stuff, i'm sure it was just him being busy. that was his first real big record, so i mean, take these things into account when thinking about it. You can only take something like that into account if the buyer is warned ahead of time. Otherwise, the dude flat out has to hold up his end of the bargain. If he can't, then he shouldn't be selling products in the first place.
jon720
Never heard any excuses. Even Sparrows didn't know what was up with him when I talked to the one dude in the band. Not a big deal, I don't even have the records anymore, but would just order from a distro if need be.
