Guest Admin
CRESTFALLEN "S/T" LP THE MESSYHAIRS "Dead Scene" LP THE MUTINY "S/T" US Version 7" THE MUTINY "S/T" Euro Version 7" DEADLOCK FREQUENCY "Saints & Sinners" 7" THE FACET "Established Watchers" 7" http://stores.channeladvisor.com/vinylhome/Store/Search.aspx?&Page=1&Sort=1&sku=SL I am so excited to be bringing you these really great releases from Seven Lucky Records. Seven Lucky is a label started ages ago by a good friend John Mather. Stefan Wild, another good friend (and avid message boarder/VC supporter) came on later to help Seven Lucky with day to day operations. Besides the releases you see above, Seven Lucky also released the very out of print Inquisition LP which now fetches bucks on Ebay. You may not recognize most of the bands on this label, but they were all really great Colorado bands. Crestfallen in particular was an absolute favorite of mine. They reunited for Denver Fest last year and played an amazing show with Christie Front Drive. Their sound was more like older Samiam with driving guitars and what would would later be defined as Emo-ish vocals. that record gets my number one recommendation, but the Messy Hairs and Deadlock Frequency played great hardcore punk rock. Mutiny were old school hardcore and the Facet, I never knew how to categorize them, but they too were great. Great label, I recommend taking a chance on these records. AsleepOnRocks
damnit, I saw Crestfallen in the title, got excited, and then realized it wasn't the one I thought it was.
