They were sick of living in a van more or less. As someone who has friends in bands, it really does suck. They've been known to sleep in Wal-Mart parking lots.

when one of the members ebayed their copy of the first press picture disc and signed it, it seemed like the memebers didnt really get along anymore. i think that was his reason for some of the members not signing it

It was the bassist/second guitar player/guitar dude that was the asshole I heard

see I read in that huge band rumors/stories thread on VLV that the lead singer was backstage at some venue before a show doing stuff with a girl who was under 18 years old, and the venue has/had camera surveillance backstage and it recorded the material, prompting band tension/break up.

If you look at Champions of History, and then Cannons (albeit, both very inactive, useless projects in my opinion with members that displayed such amazing musical talent in BVS, you can see an almost even split of members in both projects.)
