traffic
I've never heard Apocalypse Meow, are they good? i wouldn't put it out if it weren't! for what it's worth, if you're into all of the pop punk coming out of mpls right now, this band has some familiar faces in it! phantommaggot
i wouldn't put it out if it weren't! Haha, I just gave them a listen and I'm really impressed. Not what I thought they would sound like being that they are doing a split with AJJ but I'm definitely digging it. Is this their first release? Is this their first release? yup -first one! but they've also got a song on the Dangerous Intersections III 7", which is also up for pre-order now, and next month they'll be releasing a split 7" with Rational Anthem. both of those are definitely worth pickin' up. and so far as the Dangerous Intersections 7"s are concerned -if you're into any kind of punk, you can't really go wrong with any of 'em 'cause they've all got a great mix of bands. in addition to Apocalypse Meow, #3's got songs by The Closet Fairies (sloppy, garagey punk -and ex-Witches With Dicks), The Dopamines (fast, catchy, as hell pop punk), and Todd Congelliere (who you know as the frontman of Toys That Kill and the Underground Railroad to Candyland). shit rules!
