Posted September 13, 2011 Share Posted September 13, 2011 It probably won't ever get pressed, so this is a moot point, but I Am Hollywood would have to get remastered to justify being released on a new format. The whole album is mastered way too hot, almost every song has hard digital distortion from being pushed well past a reasonable volume. mindovermatter Posted September 14, 2011 Share Posted September 14, 2011 I, for one, love all HIL records and think that It Hates You (albeit a departure frok their earlier work) is a fucking perfect record. It's heavy without being "chugga chugga," it's catchy, it has some atmosphere, the list goes on and on. For my tastes, this album managed to hit all of the bases. I actually was in talks with Tragic Hero about licensing this before this other label swooped in and started talking about doing it. I wonder frequently if I should attempt to pursue it again.
