swankymodes
Relapse is gone now. Repo and Noise Pollution are near by to the old Relapse Store. The Wooden Shoe also has some vinyl. Outside of the South St. are, Beautiful World Syndicate has two locations. Long In The Tooth is probably my favorite though.
lydiawesome
AKA Neighborhood: Olde City 27 N 2nd St Philadelphia, PA 19106 (215) 922-3855 (Edit: above copied from yelp) I made some good scores there and Repo was alright.
mattstrike
^^^^While not my favorite, every so often AKA Music on 2nd Street has a decent selection. I found some nice deals in their bargain/sale bin (i.e. OOP Hellcat releases sealed, under $6). (Though, they mostly focus on new wax). If you're in University City check out The Marvelous. Great selection of local music and always nice folks working. If you don't have transpo out to the burbs, let me know when yr coming and maybe we can hit some stores that are outside of the city proper. Snaggle Von Swift
my favorite is definitely Long In The Tooth (2027 Sansom St) Noise Pollution, I usually can find one or two real good records mixed in. Always worth a stop in.
oakland
Philadelphia Record Exchange. Is it still there?

mattstrike
Philadelphia Record Exchange. Is it still there? Yes it is. Still great, still a mess!
oakland
When I was a kid in Delaware the Record Exchange was like Mecca to me. You'd get there and everyone would have a bad attitude and the place was always cramped and hard to navigate. Still, I got about half the records I own there. We'd go up about once a month and blow $200-$300, come home with a huge pile of records no one we knew had ever heard. Great times.
LowEndAutomatic
my favorite is definitely Long In The Tooth (2027 Sansom St) Yeah, Record Exchange will always hold a weird place in my heart... I remember going in there on weekend nights as a kid and the dudes who worked there were always smoking cigarettes, drinking and eating chinese food... you never knew what you were going to find! quinncallahan
nice i love Ray's Happy Birthday Bar. as for record stores i love Long in the Tooth (found a copy of Love Is Hell for $30) and AKA is not the best but you can find good deals and Noise Pollution is great if you like elctro/hip-hop/house etc...
