andrew13 Posted July 7, 2009 Share Posted July 7, 2009 i saw that on tv last night i think. i'm actually kinda looking forward to the Akira adaptation after what adult swim had to say about it like a year ago. aparently leo is a huge anime fan and will make sure they don't fuck it up the bump said. My biggest fear is that they will dumb it down to appeal to the masses because I mean, let's be honest, Akira can be confusing as fuck. I had to watch it through a few times to understand what the hell was happening. Provided I was like 13 but I was smarter than the average 13 year old all the same. andrew13 Posted July 7, 2009 Share Posted July 7, 2009 thing is, it's going to be 2 movies i guess. following the manga, not the movie. never read the manga, so looking forward to it. and nichole, you should check out like Gundam 00, Code Geass, Macross F, Moyoshimon, or Kaiji. all are pretty good series. The whole reason i even got into the movie was because I was flipping through one of the graphic novels at Suncoast and it seemed cool.
