Got mine today. I'm not one to bitch about packaging, but it almost seems like the shrink wrap fucked with the gatefold and fucked the spine up, leaving the fold spread out and one half of the album a little warped. it just doesn't have a nice, sharp crease to fold at. Luckily, the record itself was fine. Like I said, I'm not one to bitch, but I'm an artist, I love the art as much as the music, and this album looks amazing. The mailer itself was fine, so it doesn't seem like the USPS had anything to do with it. Did anyone else have this problem?

Should've clarified that I would try to sell the two I've already ordered to fund the Euro version. I definitely don't have the money to spend on three versions of one record. :)

Hah. Okay. I wish I could get the Euro version but I don't have a cent to spend. I need to stop logging into VC because every time I do I find something I want to buy. I finally splurged and bought Kay Kay self titled the other day with my last monies.

I have these dueling habits of buying records and going out for breakfast every morning. They're the only two things I consistently spend money on, but for the past month I've only eaten breakfast once away from home and bought one $10 record. I've got so much extra money now, it's amazing. It takes a lot of restraint, though. I love breakfast and I really love records.

I got mine from VC and mine was similar to yours, though my LP wasn't warped as far as I can tell. Disappointing to get a new LP with the jacket messed up

Mine arrived. Bent and warped. There was no cardboard or packing material of any kind inside the box. The box was VERY bent and I was surprised to see that the record wasn't worse. It is bent slightly. The jacket isn't in great shape. It has a slight crease on the thin side and also seems like the wrapping messed with the spine a little as mentioned earlier. The record itself is warped and very noticeable. . It is playing and sounds great.

The color is really nothing special. It looks a lot like what virgil posted. I have the blue/purple. It is not transparent. It is pretty much just that color and if you look really close there is a very subtle marble effect going on (some red, white, black, blue and darker purple. Not as cool as I thought it would be. From more than a couple feet away it just looks plain purple.
