drabley
I used to work in an aluminum extrusion plant as a production supervisor when I lived in Toronto. In the dead of winter in an building made of steel with no insulation, we opened up all of the doors and shipping bays. Tempurature outside: -25C. Temperature inside: 112F. In the summer it would get upwards of 125 - 130F, sometimes higher around the press. We could smoke in the plant and I used to light cigarettes off of the billets as they transferred into the press loader -- that's how hot they were. The corrugated steel floor plate around the press would get so hot that it would melt the soles on your work boots. So don't tell me about hot. As for a restaurant, I'd be more concerned with the customers being uncomfortable than the servers. I'm not eating anywhere that I break a sweat while doing so. tanukichu
Wait what? I've never seen a non-restaurant style Pizza Hut, even when I was in Europe. Those exist? These were the only Pizza Huts I thought that existed until I moved to Philly. The closest one is a Pizza Hut Express where they only serve personal pizzas and breadsticks. There's shit tons of places to get a decent slice around here but when made right, Pizza Hut breadsticks can be amaziiiinnggggg
tanukichu
And as far as the AC is concerned, the AC is always blasting at my job. I get sick of customers bitching about it because it's a coffee shop and it's not like they're sitting down. I usually end up bringing a hoodie to work with me. We have to have the AC blasting or our machines will overheat and leak everywhere. Trust me, someone turned it off overnight once. The results weren't pretty first thing in the morning. I'd hate to have you watch me make risotto. I sweat bullets stirring that shit, and I'm not some fat fuck either.
