Guest Admin
Our friends at Mind over Matter Records emailed me over the weekend about a test pressing he has posted to help raise funds for Evergreen Terrace's drummer who was recently injured in a serious bike accident. It sucks that full-time touring acts have to tour without medical insurance and be prone to such situations. I am not sure if there is a benefit going on elsewhere to help defer medical bills, but help out by bidding on this test pressing. If there is a benefit, please comment on this post. Hate to see stuff like this happen. Here is the note from Mind over Matter Records: The drummer for Evergreen Terrace, Kyle, was recently injured in a very serious bike injury. It happened right before the band was about to leave for tour and also right BEFORE he was going to be eligible for any medical insurance. Since being in a band is his only means of a living and he had to sit out of this tour due to broken bones and a need for surgery/physical therapy, we are all trying to scrape together some cash to help him pay for his ever growing medical bills. To try and do our part, we put an auction up on ebay consisting of one of the orange copies of "Burned Alive By Time" as well as a test press. Since I noticed in the message boards that several of your customers were geeked about the possibility of getting their hands on one of the TPs, I am hoping that maybe they'd be interested in helping a dude out and try and score a copy. We are giving 100% of everything that we earn from the auction to Kyle. If you can help spread the word, it would be totally awesome. travis
Id love to have a test of this but I hope it gets up to past what I can afford. I just got my regular version of this over the weekend. I thought everything about this package was amazing. Great looking screened cover, hand numbered and the vinyl looks really great too. ximperfectx
From Evergreen Terrace's myspace page: Kyle's mom and stepdad (Stacy and Mark Earle) have set up a donation site if you are interested. If not, then please keep him in your thoughts. http://www.staceyandmark.com/KylesClavicle.htm
