So, I'm a sucker for classic Disney 2-D animated movies and they haven't released one in 7 years. This was the first one that looked to be worth watching in several more than 7 years. I went to see it tonight and it was definitely worth it. I enjoyed it more than the last few times I went to the theater (saw Sherlock Holmes, Avatar...). Very classic Disney storyline. Check. Beautiful 2-D animation. Check. Lovable characters. Check. Go see this movie if you have any interest in it at all. I wanted to go see it whether it was terrible or not just to support an original 2-D animated movie to show Disney people still want to see them. It was filled with the normal New Orleans/cajun cliche things. As a movie though it was decent, but not one that I will be running back to see again.
