denovalirecords
Hey hey Last week iTunes sold mp3 no. 10 000 000 000 (congratulations!?) - so Apple has gained minimum 4,5 Billion USD with the art of other people. We're still trying it with the good old vinyl + cds + a friendly, less money based relationship to the bands we support and hope that’s okay for you! This is again one of the bigger updates. Maybe we start with the new records and you check all other further news details below. Our friends MOUSE ON THE KEYS have just finished their first European tour and it was nothing but amazing. So why not presenting you the new full lenght? 'AN ANXIOUS OBJECT'' is now up for preorder. We also offer a nice new shirt and hoodie design. Beyond that we're proud to present you the BERSARIN QUARTETT 2xLP/CD. This one already saw the light of day on cd 2 years ago ... we're doing a new cd version and finally the 2xlp! Aaand ... we have a few new artists on board. Further information at the end of the news. Takk Denovali MOUSE ON THE KEYS – AN ANXIOUS OBJECT CD/LP One Review for the MOUSE ON THE KEYS debut EP named SEZSSION said: "Do you wonder sometimes when was the last time you heard some really different sounding music from a band that doesn’t try to sound like everybody else? If yes, you probably know that there are very few such delectable artists out there, and often they are hard to discover because they don’t get the same amount of media coverage as those that are easier to sell to the people. MOUSE ON THE KEYS are such a band!" a very unique soundscape and an absolutely fantastic liveset (supported by well selected video elements) you didn't see since years – overall: an intelligently paced new sound with a very very pleasant attention to detail. The drums are fantastic, the piano smooth and the other instruments masterfully used to make their records a joyful trip to bliss. This first full lenght 'AN ANXIOUS OBJECT' as a concept record represents the city tokyo + the band's imagination and feeling about it by sound, texture and artwork. It is music that touches you straight away. Music that is important, that has a story to tell – and that manages to do so without even a single line of lyrics. Wonderful orchestral pieces full of longing and melancholy. It is that certain kind of melancholy that seizes you when you are moved while following the final credits of an emotionally touching movie, remembering special moments that have faded in the course of many years and linger hazily in your memory, when you are somewhat wistfully contemplating old, worn photographs from days passed by … not a feeling of failure or hopelessness, but a bittersweet reflection. 'It's rare that I'm able to give an album my fullest recommendation without trepidation.' (The Silent Ballett) 'An incredible release in the electronica world, but one that fans of many other genres will enjoy.' ptrsev
Thanks, Timo. It's a NAD 555, pretty much a Rega P2 clone. Comes with a cheap Goldring Elektra pickup that everybody insist I should change, but I don't know, I don't think it sounds that bad really, haha... I'd rather buy records instead, I guess.
