xjustinxschwierx
They're hammers alright. Damn, this cover is awesome. I love Justin's work. I've never heard this dude before, he seems alright, but I could totally get behind an ex hardcore kid doing acoustic stuff...sound rationale i know...but yeah...i thought, oh cool Springsteen cover...then WTF?!?!?!! holy JUDGE hammer hand tattoo, Batman!! ...way more interesting than some other dude singing acoustic songs. Japes
I really wish his Yuma EP would get pressed. That EP is so fucking good it's insane.
mutinyzine
I don't think he's been playing punk or hardcore in the past. He had a band called The Swindlers for a while (old timey stuff) but they never released anything. I think the first official thing Justin did was playing his song "Time We Waste" on the live Steve Earle record "Just An American Boy". Justin was in Steve's backing band the first time I saw him. Evrything Justin's done since then is so damn good. "The Good Life" is my favorite record.
devinr
Saw him a couple of months back and he killed it. I love this full lengths and agree that yuma should be pressed.
martyk36
Considering dude was a drug addict from his early teens into his 20's-I highly doubt he was in to straight edge hardcore bands, but you never know. I've had "midnight at the movies" in my ipod for months and haven't really been able to get into it. will have to give it another listen.
