If you haven't played before make sure to read the directions. They're short but they help a lot.

Instructions:

You need Java 1.5 in order to play Rampy. You can get it from www.java.com.

You'll know the game is loading when it says 'Rampy' on a blue screen.

A. The Lobby:

1. When you first enter the lobby, you'll be asked for a name. Enter a name and type enter.

In the lobby you'll see a list of other players, and a list of games you can join.

2. To create a game that others can join, click 'Create Game'.

3. To join a game, click on it and click the 'Join Game' button.

4. When you have created a game, you can still chat while waiting for an opponent.

5. To chat, just type. Hit 'Enter' to send your message.

B. Game Play:

1. Select a castle. Click on it to select it.

2. Place cannons INSIDE of castle walls (the marked areas)

3. Fire at the enemies walls. Aim at the base of the walls for better accuracy. Left lick shoots.

(you can shoot your own walls)

(Cannons can fire more than once)

4. Rebuild walls around your castle. Right click to rotate pieces, left click to place pieces.

C. Game ends when:

1. One or both players are not able to entirely enclose a castle

or

2. Players battle for five rounds, after which winner is determined by score.

3. When asked, you can fight your opponent again. The map will change if you do.

The controls in the build phases are: Left click = place piece. Right Click = rotate piece.

The controls in the isometric view are: Left click = Fire
