Those got pressed sometime late last year when the color before it was pressed. Doug was sitting on them waiting for the supply of the others to deplete and then release the purple ones. I do some work with him, including doing the packaging for that record so he gave me a box of them to sell and I was the only one with them until now.

Not sure how his releasing a record on different colors is any different than the 100 other labels people covet on this board doing the exact same thing. The only difference was instead of being like relapse or hydrahead where they release 2-6 colors at the same time, he does one at a time and then when the supply runs out or low he orders another run.
