Today, I bring you our Vinyl Collector of the Day, Brian Zeolla. Brian hails from Houston, Texas, but spent many of his formative (at least in regards to vinyl collecting) years in the Chicago punk/ska scene of the 90's. Between Chicago punk and ska and mid 90's emo, Brian didn't have a choice other than to collect vinyl. Brian took the time to answer our questions on why he collects vinyl, his first vinyl purchases, the most he spent on a record (or in his case, a box set), his greatest vinyl score, records he would love to own, records he would love to see pressed, his thoughts on colored vinyl, and more. Thanks Brian for taking the time to answer our questions. The funny thing is that as I read this feature, I was thinking, I wonder if he is a Karate fan (probably my favorite 90's emo act) and sure enough, one of his final answers was scoring a Karate record at a local store.

You, too, can answer our questions and submit your Vinyl Collector of the Day feature. What are you waiting for? You can find the questions here http://www.vinylcollective.com/2010/08/16/submit-your-vinyl-collector-of-the-day-feature-1-question-changed/
